A few weeks ago, I complained about my mother's VW repairThe work that was done was not up to par and we were disapointed with the communication from staffSince the comlpaint was filed, VW has tried every effort to fix the situation and they have exhibited nothing but professionalismKudos to the manager for making an effort to correct the situation for a displeased customerThe situation was handled professionally and fairly and we continue to do business with them to this day- we even purchased a vehicle from VW
I called ahead about a car and that should have been my first clue, since the salesperson, or whoever answered did not seem interested in speaking with me at all Upon arriving I was not sure if I was in the correct location since there are multiple buildings I went in the main VW building and walked across the showroom floor twice looking for someone I finally interrupted a girl in one of the side offices and asked if there was anyone who could help me She asked what I needed "Um, to buy a car" is what I was thinking, however I explained that I'd called ahead about a certain car on the website She looked it up and we walked across the lot to the other building Upon arriving she left me and went to find out where said car was Finally someone came out and informed me that the car was not for sale, but going to auction I said 'Oh, well it was on the website, and I had...' He interrupts to begin explaining to me whatever algorithmic system the use which caused the info on the trade in to end up on the website I stopped him explaining that all that technical information was really not necessary He left to find out why it was going to auction and came back and said only the GM could allow the sale of it They then tried to hand me his name and number on a tiny yellow post it note I did not accept, saying ' oh, you need me to call him?!" The dude, at this point had had enough with me and instructed the girl that brought me down there to call him She took my name (FIRST TIME ANYONE HAD) and said she's call me when she talked to him, but she didn't know when that would be"Whenever I can get a hold of him." NO ONE introduced themselves, NO ONE asked me about any other cars I might like to see, and there were some My questions clearly offended the sales guy as he wanted nothing to do with me from the start Not sure what these guys are trying to sell, but it sure isn't cars I wouldn't be surprised if the entire business was just a front for something less legal Just sayin
beware of service dept. they refused to give written cost for repairs but quoted me a price. when work was completed price went from $430.00 to over $690.00 but after fighting with them got it reduced to $689.99. big ripoff promised to be done on a Tue. and kept van until late Fri, at such a time it was not possible to pick up till Sat. which resulted in me having to pay 9 days car rental instead of 4 like I was supposed to... Make sure you have in writing what they plan to charge or you may get burned too
