Aim Pest Control

My wife & I are in our 70's and on a fixed incomeI am a medically retired police officer (25-years service) and my wife is a retired school librarian (30- years service)
We contracted with The Urban Forester ("Since 1995") in Yuba City, CA, *** *** * *** ***], to trim & re-shape our tree and grind several problem roots
They came on a Wednesday, May and trimmed the tree; we did not realize what a bad job it was until after they had been paid and leftThey were supposed to come back on that Friday (May 25) to grind the roots, but never showed up and never called
They will not respond to several calls leaving voice messages or emailsI actually got hold of the owner, *** ***, at one time and asked when they were going to come back and grind the rootsShe said she needed to contact her husband (Shaun) to see when they could come, and that she would call me back within a half hour
She never said they were not supposed to do the root grinding,

Mr*** quite a while back He asked about the carpenter ants that I had reported on the Wood Destroying Insect Report that I performed at his home for the potential buyerI explained that I had found carpenter ants on two sides of his home I don't normally report carpenter ants on the report if I only see one or two in one location due to the fact that are probably just scavenging from their main colony in an oak or mesquite tree as well as other trees Mr*** has large oak trees in his back yard and the neighbor on the left has oak trees close also I can only report what I find at the time of the inspection Mr*** said that he had his pest company recently treat for Rover ants and no carpenter ants were found Rover ants and carpenter ants vary a great deal in size Carpenter ants are usually more active in the evening, but not always You might see them one day, but not the next They are not always predictable I could have returned to Mr***'s home to re-inspect and not found the carpenter ants, but I could not have changed my earlier report because of what I found at the time of that report It is only a report based on a visual inspection Mr*** did not ask for anything and our telephone conversation ended We did not do anything further at Mr***'s homeI read that he has asked for reimbursement of $for treatment We did not do any type of treatment at his homeIf I would have treated this home, I would have charged $ That is the price I told the Real Estate agent, Darlene Roussel, I would do it forAlso, if his pest company did not find any carpenter ants at his home, I'm not sure what they were treating for We, at Aim Pest Control are human, and not above making mistakes In this case, I just reported what I saw at Mr***'s home Aim Pest Control has never had a complaint like this before, so it is very concerning to us We always strive to do our very best.*** ***OwnerAim Pest Control***
