AIP provides residential management for owners and tenants in the Winchester areaI lived in a townhome under them for years and the starting rent was $For the last year I was paying $because the owner, Vic Agarwal, said that the cost of living was going up, so, he needed to keep raising the rentFinally, he gave me an ultimatum, to pay ANOTHER, $25/mo ($950) a month or leaveI chose the latterThis is for a run down 1970s townhome with baseboard heat, I provided my own ac window units, terrible neighbors that had the police over atleast once a month, people hitting your vehicle in the communal parking lot, no water softner, etcThe list is endlessFinally, I left on 6/30/and he said the place was a little dirty in the downstairs bathroom, so, now he's trying to hold onto $of my down deposit and say that he got a cleaning service to clean the carpet and wiped down a few walls even though AIP is required by law to clean the carpets and pust one layer of fresh paint on the walls before renting it to another tenantAlso, per law, carpet cleaning AND cleaning some walls fall under the "wear and tear" tenant law where the owner/management company cannot take money from your deposit for wear and tearEverytime I call his voicemail inbox is full so you can only text him and he responds back when it's convenient for himThey've locked me out of my house while I was at work, they inspected my house two weeks before and had to break in because they werent going to come back over after locking me out and unlock the second lock which I didnt have a key forVic and AIPs incompetence fars exceeds any company I have ever witnessed in my yearsSteer as FAR away from this legalized scamming business as you can! I've yet received my deposit and I have been out for almost two weeks nowI'm also expecting to go to small claims court if he tries to steal $from me for wear and tear cleaning
