When they first installed the new package air conditioner, they left a hole in the skirting big enough for a possum or raccoon to climb through. When I called to complain, they said it was needed for ventilation. WRONG! The system they replaced was sealed very well with nice-looking vinyl. When they finally came back to seal it, he used large screen, drilling holes in the brand new air conditioner. That is all going to rust before long.
The original thermostat was always about 6 degrees off from what its thermometer read. I showed it to the first guy who came here. He said he adjusted it and it would be okay. No difference! I showed the second guy who came here. Same story. Finally, I gave them a different thermostat to install, and it works okay.
The new A/C is doing the exact same thing the old one was doing. You can hold your hand right by the register and not feel any air blowing. When they were called today (again) they said the ductwork needed to be replaced. If that's what was originally needed in the first place, why would they install a $2,000 A/C unit? But it's not what's needed.
A package A/C unit uses 2 large hoses (about 1-foot diameter each) to move air to and from the outside unit. It doesn't use the furnace's blower - it has its own built-in blower. When I moved in here almost 2 years ago, one of those hoses had fallen off. And that is most-likely all that has been wrong this whole time. It can't blow air if a hose is off.
Yesterday before I left home, I set the thermostat on 68 degrees. Several hours later when I got home, the thermometer was on 76 degrees. It was warm and humid in here. I called and they said they'd send someone here today between 9 and 12 this morning. 12:00 passed and no one showed up. I called to ask if they were still coming and the receptionist told me that the owner said that the woman who was writing the check would have to call to get approval. They didn't call to let me know. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!
In summary, this company, which now goes by the name "A's and Sauer Cooling and Heating", is incompetent, rude, unprofessional, and destructive. After all this hassle and $2,000, I have exactly what I had with the old A/C unit. This company should be avoided. There ARE professional companies out there. I hope you were able to read this review BEFORE you contacted them.

On May the 24th we had our AC Unit go out on the home we bought for our son who is disability.. We were out of town and and very concerned how quickly we could get the unit repaired. On that Friday I called and talked to Amy at Holiday Heating & Air Conditioning. Amy had a service Technician stop by that afternoon to determine what the issue might be. She called me back and told me that the unit was over 30 years old and getting parts would be difficult. I determined that if the unit was that old I should replace that unit and the furnace as well. Of course the following m=Monday was memorial day. I talked with Amy the Tuesday morning following Memorial day.
WOW!!! They pulled installers from another job and were on site on Tuesday and the complete installation was done by Wednesday morning. THAT WAS GREAT SERVICE!!! I RECOMMEND COMPANY THAN HOLIDAY HEATING & COOLING.

The technician sent to look at our air conditioning unit on 4-18-19 deliberately rewired the control unit on the furnace which shorted out our thermostat. When he was questioned about why the thermostat didn’t work, he told my wife it would need new batteries. The thermostat doesn’t require batteries.
The thermostat worked before this technician came to our house.
This was brought to our attention by another technician from a different company.

On 4/17/19 *** called in and we have a recording of her stating that her AC didn’t want to seem to turn on. On 4/18/19 our technician was sent out for a service call and upon arrival he noted that the indoor blower was not working and that the computer board had been wired wrong by others. He gave pricing on a new board but recommended replacing since the AC was over 20 years old. Our dispatching software has a GPS function and time stamps the amount of time a technician is working. Our software indicates that the technician spent a total of 19 minutes at your house. The technician would not have enough time to re-wire the board and he would not have any incentive to do so. Our technicians are paid hourly and do not get commissions on selling new systems to customers. The technician stated that he did not address the thermostat with your wife because the system was not working at all when he left and the thermostat was not causing the issue the board that was wired incorrectly was the issue. He also stated that your wife told him you closed on this home in August and did not run the AC last year. The system could have been wired wrong before you moved into the home and you found out when you started running the AC. Our Service Manager/Owner tried to reach out to your wife and sent emails but as you are aware we had the wrong email on file and were not able to get in touch with her by phone. It is important to note that you were only charged a service call for the diagnosis of the board being wired incorrectly. I apologize you feel that you had a bad experience with our company but I can assure you that we are very trustworthy and stand behind our work.

I am rejecting this response because:

Most of what is stated is wrong.

"The technician stated that he did not address the thermostat" He stated it needed batteries; it doesn't run on batteries. It also worked fine before he was there.

" He also stated that your wife told him you closed on this home in August and did not run the AC last year" She didn't say that. We ran the AC last year. Really??!! August in Missouri and we didn't use the AC?

The amount of time the tech was here is correct.

I just want my payment for the service call refunded, then we can call this done.

The owner has been change.
Lest summer on 8/13/2018 they repair by replacement the capacitor
Its was still under warranty yet I have to pay for the visit tech $79 plus labor 15 minutes $22 10% off for senior discount $-10.10 total $90.90
Now it is seem to me the some problem. If after the tech fine it is the some problem I still needs to pay for the visit plus the labor at least $90.90
The capacitor working only about 1 month .why I have to pay again if the capacitor the tech installing its bad quality.

I am sorry you are having issues but it does not look like we have been to your house since we replaced the capacitor on 8/13/18. You stated you were having the same problem a month later but we do not have record of coming back out to you. Did you call another heating and cooling company to come out? If so, I would not be able to help you. We were at your house on 8/13/18 and replaced a capacitor that was under parts warranty so you were charged the labor and service call since it was no longer under a labor warranty. We have not been to your house since then. If we would have come back a month later to install another capacitor then we would not charge you the service call or labor but you have not had us back out since 8/13/18. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

I met with several different heating and cooling companies before we selected Holiday Heating and Cooling. We scheduled an appointment at our home and met with John who reviewed our current systems, asked if we were satisfied with our current *** heating and cooling systems and answered all questions I had at the time. John responded the next day with the options we had, explained the differences to make sure we understood what we were getting for our money in each option and he answered additional questions I asked. After discussing the options and what John and I thought would best fit our needs and budget, we scheduled to install two *** high efficiency systems in our home. The installations were completed as predicted within three days. The installers Emin and Adam provided us with confidence in their abilities immediately and provided me with an installation schedule that they followed and completed within three days. The installers were on time and worked hard to complete the installations in a professional manner and answering my questions along the way. After they completed the installs, Emin showed me how to use the new thermostats and worked with me to install the App on our cell phones and complete the registration with *** and Holiday to allow them to troubleshoot future issue if they would come up. After they completed their work, they cleaned up and removed all old equipment as specified. It has only been a few weeks since the installs were completed but we notice a big difference in our comfort and have had "0" problems with either system. I would strongly recommend Holiday Heating and Cooling to others and have already provided references to those that will be calling them. Thank you Holiday for your professionalism, overall knowledge and technical know how. I am a happy client!

Air Alliance just replaced our furnace , ac coil and water heater. They were professional and charged a fair price. They came out right away and got the job done. We had an issue with the duct work popping so they came back and fixed that. They really have gone above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work and their product. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them in the future.

I would like to acknowledge the most recent technician, ***., he was here on two separate occasions and was very friendly but very professional and informative. I am very well satisfied with this technician and Holiday Heating and would definitely recommend them to my friends.
