Review: I flew with Airberlin on the [redacted] August 2013. Unfortunately my baggage did not arrive with me. I was given a number to call at JFK airport (###-###-####). Nobody ever returns any of the messages that I leave. I have lost count of the number of times that I have rung this number in the 5 weeks that my bag has been missing. When I ring the international service center number ([redacted] the staff who answer the phone are rude and adamant that there is nothing they can do.

I am not able to talk to anybody about where my bag is. I even went to JFK to try and find my bag but to no avail. There is nobody to talk to about locating lost luggage.Desired Settlement: I would like Airberlin to locate my bag

Review: I originally flew Air Berlin on October [redacted], 2015 from Dusseldorf to LAX. I had paid $20.70 in advance for the "Exotic Menu" meal instead of the standard meal. During the flight I asked the flight attendant, and she said they were not given any Exotic meals for this flight. Additionally, my flight was delayed by a couple hours which resulted in a much later arrival and resulted in me missing work. I contacted Air Berlin via their online complaint form, and was issued complaint #[redacted]?. I advised that I did not receive the Exotic Meal and requested my money back, and was not happy about the delay which caused me to miss work. I received a generic apology email, which did not even address the fact that they still did not refund my money. After several email exchanges with the same generic apology, I requested a call from a Manager several times. Finally, I received an email on 11/**/15 advising to provide my phone number for a call back. I provided this, Air Berlin, acknowledged that they received my number, however I never received a call. I emailed them several times after, requesting that a Manager call me, and finally on 12/**/15, almost TWO MONTHS later, they refunded my money for the meal I never received, yet a Manager still did not call me. I emailed again requesting a Manager to call me, and again received generic email response, stating, thank you for contacting us, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Again completely disregarding any issues I raised in the email, including the fact that I was advised that I would receive a call back, and never received one. I even tried calling their New York number on 02/**/16, and although it gives you the option to press 2 for Customer Care, when I was transferred, the gentleman answering advised that this number was only for reservations, and I would have to contact Customer Care online only, and despite the fact that it has been 4 months that they have not addressed my issue, that I should "be patient." This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.Desired Settlement: Due to the delayed flight which caused me to miss work, the ridiculous amount of effort I have had to put into reaching a response from "Customer Service", the amount of frustration and stress I have experienced, and the outrageous time frame to refund my money for the meal I purchased, and to appropriately respond and call, I am requesting a Full Refund for the Flight due to the overall poor experience.

Review: On ** May, 2015 Air Berlin lost my luggage on my path from Stuttgart to Berlin. I was told to contact the airline upon my arrival in Washington DC. I have not been able to get in contact with any representative in an effort to have my luggage forwarded to my address in Virginia.Desired Settlement: I request to have my luggage delivered to my current address in Virginia.
