I went to GEX International for my engine mainly because my friends told me that they were the place to go for quality After calling them and going over many options, I settled on a engine for my Buggy They had it in stock, so I went ahead and ordered About a week later a freight company pulls up with my engine, all crated up It looked great It now powers my Manx Buggy and is quite reliable Starts every time first try Thanks again, GEX International
These guys have been in business since 1973, so they must be doing something right I placed an order with GEX in March of I received my engine in about weeks later The engine I ordered was going to be dropped into my Vanagon The motor sat in my shop for about months and then I finally got it installed The engine started right up and sounded great and still does I will be taking it to a car show again this weekend, and every time I do I always recommend GEX to other VW enthusiasts Overall, Â I just want to say thank you to everyone at GEX for this amazing engine!!

My son in law told me about GEX International when I was after an engine for my 68 squareback. I did a Google search and they came right to the top of the list. I was somewhat hesitant, but after talking to their sales rep, Paul, he made it all seem so easy. He gave me a few suggestions to get more power and reliability out of it. So, I went ahead and ordered. Since it was a custom engine, it took a little longer to set up. But that was ok because I got exactly what I wanted. GEX International is tops in my book. My engine has been humming along for about 5 months now and sounds great.
