I have prepaid a year round service $with this company, I should receive total three services through out the year, no one scheduling my appointment when the time comes up and I have to call myself, No big deal, but when I called I learned I need to pay another $traveling fee which the tech [redacted] did not informed at the first place! They are neither professional nor qualified to do their job

Terrible!! Brand new AC installed June 2015. They had detected a loss of some pressure in my old unit, which was working fine. However, we were headed north for 6 weeks and we did not want any problems so we replaced the entire AC with a Rheem system.
When I came back from up North in the beginning of August the condo was 89 degrees:
-called Air Care Solutions for service; no one could come for 4 days
-on date of service no one came, when I called they said they were just about to call me, the truck broke down and we would have to reschedule
-the next day the technicians arrived at 11 AM because they came from the East coast of FL; there are no longer any service techs in Naples. They dumped in Freon and told me they would be back to test the lines in 2 weeks. The house never got below 84 degrees
-numerous attempts to get someone to come back and provide service (all documented with time, dates and people I spoke to). I was promised assistance and continued to get excuses of why no one showed up. I was placed on hold for 50 minutes - I believe the call center was tired of hearing from me.
- finally spoke to the "owner" with a promise that he would resolve this himself. He told me he had just purchased the business and the owner that sold me the unit no longer had responsibility for the business
- The owner called me back saying he could not get anyone out to my house until the next week (now it is 10 days since the first phone call for service on a new unit). I paid to have a new company diagnose what was wrong - it was a broken evaporator coil on this brand new unit. The other company came out within 2 hours.
- Owner tells me he will take care of the fees for the other company and will get someone out to fix once they get the part. 2 days later they still do not have the part and they are blaming the manufacturer. I call the manufacturer and send the information on how to get the part to the owner of Air Care Solutions. He never calls me back and no longer answers my calls.
- I call another company to install the evaporator coil and I pay the service fees ($1700).
- when they try to charge the lines they find more damage from having run the AC with the broken coil and from putting more Freon in the lines without testing the lines
- $8000 (had to run new coolant lines - they were badly damaged) and a month later my AC is finally working.
Do not use Air Care Solutions - their mishaps and lack of knowledgeable service technicians has cost me almost $14,000 for equipment and services. Their work is not reliable and I cannot understand how they stay in business. I no longer believe that the original unit had to be replaced.

Being out of town, I asked my daughter to call Air Care Solutions, as they had a coupon for duct cleaning locally in Jacksonville, fl..All we wanted were the ac ducts cleaned, ONLY.. For some reason, the service tech, went to the ac unit to inspect. He said he had to clean the unit for part of the service.
I have had the unit for quite sometime, but have kept up regular maintenance on the unit every year and have not had any problems. The tech comes back insdie and tells my daughter that there is a problem with the unit and to come outside with him. He points out that there is a freon leak on one of the pipes going in to the unit and the unit needs! to be replaced. Surprising enough, one of their businesses is installing new ac units. My daughter called the owner or manager,[redacted] and asked about the problem. He told her if she wanted to go to court, go ahead and file a charge. I find this kind of attitude and [redacted] to be very unprofessional and offensive.
I called the manager of the company this morning after talking to my daughter. He told me the same thing. What kind of people are we letting open businesses in this area??
All I wanted was to talk to the man and resolve the problem. I don't want to go to court and tie the courts up with a silly inane complaint such as this.
I would like the Revdex.com to be aware of the fact that there are still people preying on senior citizens in this area, and hopefully something can be done about these scoundrels.
