Mrs. [redacted] did not agree that they were in need of a furnace since it was their air-conditioning that was not working; furthermore, she was insisting that the furnace was new and was installed by T.R.A. and should be waranteed by this company. Upon location of the model # of the furnace, the tech found that the piece of equipment was actually 17 years old and not installed by T.R.A.
The problem is with the blower motor which if not working properly will create a freezing effect. If the blower motor is not working it naturally affects the air flow from the air-conditioner. The new condensing units and new coils are installed properly and are functioning properly. The problem that remains is with the equipment that the [redacted] refuse to repair or replace. T.R.A. has had three different technicians troubleshoot the problem and all three, including an independent air-conditioning company, have found the problem to be with the blower motor in the old furnace. I am sorry that this created such a misunderstanding from the beginning. We were certainly not attempting to sell the [redacted] something they did not need.
