Review: I was given an estimate of $425 to repair an Electrolux vacuum (deposit given $300). When it was returned the bill was an additional $585.00. I was never contacted to inform me of the much higher cost. It was paid. Within a few months the replacement hose pulled out of the unit and could not be kept in place so the machine could not be used. When I called for additional service, it was "fixed" with a piece of aluminum foil and I was told that the unit was not handled correctly. It should not be "pulled" by the hose but "pushed" along the floor with the foot! (WHAT NONSENSE!) This " repair did not last and I went to an Electrolux store to get a replacement hose for $175 plus tax.

I called the firm to ask for partial refund and was told, as I said above, that I should have "pushed" the unit with my foot to move it!Desired Settlement: I want at least $600.00 back for the replacement hose I purchased and for the "fraudulent" manner that this transaction was conducted!

I had a call from someone in your office about 2 weeks ago saying that they spoke with the firm and since we have a small claims court date there is nothing you can do for me. The small claims court date is this Thursday. I am not anticipating that the firm will even show up! And if they do, I am not expecting that they will abide by the court decision even if I am awards payment!
