the customer's maintenance technician two cost options - one for processing upcharges due to extraneous material and the other for the cost to return the waste. The maint tech opted for the latter. The attached photographs of lamp waste with extraneous material were shared with the maint tech. We offered a phone consulation with the maint tech and his manager on 6/16, and they chose to not make that call.
The customer is requesting a refund which is difficult to do since we have not yet sent an invoice or received any money from them.
