I am rejecting this response because: the response skillfully distorted the truth of what happened last summer and tried to hide up their own mistakes and responsibilities. 1. To set the case clear from the start, we hired Air Demand through the home warranty company not to replace our coil but to repair our AC unit. Air Demand claimed that the problem was in the coil, but after the replacement the problem persisted. Hence we seriously question the necessity of replacing this unit, as well as the $750 that they charged us; the home warranty company clearly stated to us that this charge was purely due to Air Demand and had nothing to do with the warranty. 2. Within days of the replacement of the coil, we reported to the home warranty company, as well as Air Demand, that the AC again failed to cool down the air. Since then, Air Demand sent several technicians and found various reasons (including the argument that their previous team failed to tighten some screws), but the problem never got fixed. 3. We eventually decided to step off because Air Demand made another lousy charge of $1000+ to replace the outdoor unit. They failed to explain what the charges were about, nor could they guarantee that this would solve the AC problem. Hence this proposal looks like yet another blind guess rather than a serious solution. In summary, we cannot accept the response from Air Demand for the highly distorted picture of what had happened. We gave them many opportunities to fix the AC problem and paid $750, but they failed to keep their promises and left us unprotected in the hot Texas summer. Hence we insist upon our right to request the full refund for the payment of &750. Thanks.
