I am rejecting this response because: The Goodman furnace you installed at my property was not
installed in compliance or to code. You
did not pull the required permit and did not get it inspected by the Norman
permit office like you are required by law to do.
When the new Heat and Air company I hired
came out to fix the problem that your technician did not fix properly, he
showed me numerous code violations and asked if an inspector had been out to
the property because in his opinion, the unit would never have passed a code
inspection I called Norman permit
office and they have no record of you filing for a permit
Furthermore, on the work ticket I signed from Air Control,
it states under description of work: “Repair was caused by installers! Duel
fuel unit was not hooked up at all.”
Invoice from Norman Heat & Air states: “Air Factory
installed new Goodman furnace on existing equipment and did not wire properly
so heat pump never shut off and never went into defrost mode, which ruined
reversing valve.”
The stress on my heat pump/condensing unit was caused from
the faulty wiring from the unit your techs installed. My unit may not have been new, but it was
working just fine before the heater installation and it was also working fine
when you did my fall maintenance on the system months earlier. I am now being told that I will have to pay
to replace the entire system because of the damage that has been done to it
Concerning your reply that your servicemen are not late or
miss appointments, I have text and phone records proving otherwise. Also, *** did not try to reschedule his
missed appt with me. He stopped
responding to my calls and texts and has not tried to reach me. The only call I have not responded to is the
one you made to me after I wrote you an email stating that I was done with your
company and would be reporting your actions
You state I am never satisfied and confrontational with
you. I have never raised my voice in our
dealings or been rude. I have asked for
my unit to be fixed and I have reminded you that my tenants were freezing when
it was below freezing temps and their unit was not working. I have said that I didn’t feel I should have
to pay more money on several occasions because you have responded repeatedly
that it will cost me more to fix the same problem. The first time I did not agree to another fee
was when you said I needed to pay for a part for the condensing unit because I
felt that your techs caused the damage
The faulty installation caused irreparable damage to my
condensing unit which now needs to be replaced That will cost me thousands of dollars in
addition to what I have already spent with you.
I have lost countless hours over this issue as well, from missed and
rescheduled appts, waiting on service techs, waiting while repairs were being
done, and still not having a functioning system at the end of it. My tenants are not happy with your service
either and have also been put through quite a lot with missed hours from work
and many uncomfortable days, first when they were in freezing temps and then
when the unit ran continuous heat and wouldn’t shut off. You did not even come to the property to look
at the problem when I reported these situations to you. If you had, maybe things wouldn’t have gotten
so out of control I feel I have no
choice but to seek legal counsel

These are all false accusations.  I have a permit.  I have a license.  I have documentation supporting this.  It was installed in accordance to code and in fact when the code officials called to inspect my installation the owner refused.  I have hired a lawyer who has informed me that we have every right to sue her for Slander; sue her in small claims court for reimbursement of the installation costs and place a mechanics lien on the property all of which I am currently pursuing.[redacted]Owner, AIR FACTORY HEATING & COOLING CO., LLC
