Customer service and installation issuesThe company changed out an ac unit. Left the old unit at residence for 3 weeks. After returning left shipping crate and trash. Also charged for items they did not install and improper installation of unit. They also did not return multiple calls, messages, and emails directlyDesired SettlementI would like a refund of the $50 dollar removal fee and the $170 installation fee of the item not installed

They didn't recognize/repair air conditioning problem that resulted in $1500 of damage. They screened calls & wouldn't rtrn messages to resolve issue. For a year we'd been having problems with the A/C unit above my daughter's room. Airgo came out and said they looked the unit over and there wasn't a problem. The condensation pump ran constantly for a full year, we told them about it, and they said everything was fine. We paid them service visits for this. When we returned from a vacation, the pump had finally burned itself out which resulted in a lot of ceiling and wall damage because of all the condensation that had not been pumped out. We tried to contact Airgo but they wouldn't answer the phone. We left messages but they wouldn't return calls. When we tried calling from a different number they would talk to us and say that the manager would call back. That never happened. Finally, we called another company in to see what was going on. They immediately "condemned" the system and did all the repair that should have been done in the first place. They replaced the condensation pan and pump, rerouted some duct work, and other things that were out of my level of expertise. Everything has been fine ever since. I tried again to contact Airgo to have them come out and make repairs to my ceiling and wall. All I encountered were the same problems we had when I tried to contact them before. Finally, after about 7 weeks, I purchased the matierials and made the repair myself, taking a day off from work to do so. Needless to say, I was and am VERY unhappy with the lack of professionalism, service, and communication.Desired SettlementI'd like them to reimburse me the $354.16 for my day off of work PLUS the estimated $50 in materials I had to purchase to do so.

Air Go will not respond to requests for service according to annual service contract purchased in Jul 2013. Need to remove AC unit they replaced.I purchased an annual service contract for $150.00 on 7/18/2013. They have not made an attempt to schedule either 6 month or 12 month service. Also, when they replaced the downstairs unit, I was told I could sell the metal/copper in the unit so I agreed to them leaving the unit. I later learned that a unit cannot be sold in pieces, which is what I would have to do since I do not have the resources to haul a whole unit to the salvage business. I would like them to remove the unit when they service the downstairs unit.I have called and left messages at (XXX) XXX-XXXX.I have also emailed them at [redacted]@airgohvac.comDesired SettlementI want them to honor the service contract. I want them to service my unit as soon as possible and again in 6 months.I also want them to remove the downstairs unit they replaced.

Installed air conditioning unit incorrectly. Did not remove drain plug, installed fan blade upside down. Could not be reached for assistance.the unit was originally replaced 04/2010. payment was made by debit card. fan blade was replaced 06/2013 payment made by credit card. Desired Settlementi want them to replace my air condittioning unit without charge.

On July 26th, 2013 you were given a work order by [redacted] Services to come to my home and inspect and repair my air conditioning unit which was not working. As it turns out, the unit had taken a direct hit from lightening. According to you ([redacted]), this meant replacing the unit as it could not be cost effectively repaired. See your work ticket dated 7/26/13. I contacted my home owner's insurance and they authorized the replacement based on your ticket and the invoices for $4,546 and $100 (that was pre-paid as a result of the original service call), for a total of $4,646.During the installation of the unit, which took place on Saturday, July 27th, your installer dropped the unit into the cement pad. The pad is approximately one foot deep. I heard him drop it and the sound literally shook the foundation of my home. I was very concerned that he had been injured so I ran outside to be sure he was alright. I asked what happened and he said that the unit had to be lowered onto the pad and he had dropped it but it was okay and he was okay. Part of the price of the installation was that you would remove the old unit. However, for some reason you were unable to do so on the same day as the installation. You advised me that you would be back out the following week to remove the unit and also to add a "flange" to seal the unit to the sheet metal and that the flange was on back-order. I agreed to wait a week for you to return.A week went by and you did not come back with the flange nor did you remove the old unit and you made no effort to call me to keep me appraised of any problems which might have prevented you from doing so. I called your office again and spoke directly to you. During this call, you assured me you would be there by the following Friday, which would have been August 9th. Again, you did not come. I waited several weeks and still you did not come. I called again on August 28th, and explained I had been waiting for several weeks for you to return and remove the old unit and install the "flange". You agreed that you would be out the following day and take care of both items. You did finally come and remove the old unit, but the "flange" was not installed. When I returned from work that evening, I went outside and around to the side of the house to be sure you had removed the old unit and installed the flange. This is when I discovered that you had come and removed the old unit but not installed the "flange". I also noticed that the unit was sitting at an uneven level on the pad; it was making a very loud rattling noise and was leaking green fluid.I contacted Old Republic via telephone on the 2nd, because I was deeply concerned that a brand new unit was damaged and rattling and I knew it should not be. [redacted] sent out a different vendor on September 5th who advised the following: a) The gas line is not properly connected and is not up to Tennessee Code, b) the unit is not set even on the pad, c) the drip leg is missing, d) the shut off valve is old and rusted and should have been replaced as part of the installation of a new unit, e) the condensate drain needs trap and should run to gravel, f) unit, g) sheet metal hood is not properly sized and not secured to the unit as required by code, h) conduit not properly secured. The total cost of these repairs equals $780.00. [redacted] refused to cover these repairs because they advised me that it should have been taken care of as a part of the installation performed by AIRGO.At this point, I contacted the City of [redacted] because I was concerned that the second vendor might possibly be taking advantage of the situation. The City of [redacted] sent an inspector out to my home on September 17th and he fully inspected the unit you installed. He verified all of the information as stated by the second vendor including the fact that you did not obtain the proper permits before installing the unit. These permits are mandatory on your behalf. One permit is the electrical permit and the other is the contractor's installation permit. Desired SettlementI reported this complaint to Consumer Affairs and once again AIRGO has ignored the attempts to resolve the matter amicably. As a result, I would prefer to never have AIRGO on my property again and therefore am respectfully requesting a full refund so that I may have the installation repeated by someone willing to honor the property warranty on the quipment.
