I have received your e-mail and the listed complaint # [redacted] from 10/5/by [redacted] I would like to respond with the following statement: ***'s complaint in her own words shows that we did everything in our power to help herFirst finding out her package was damaged we issued a damage claim for her after the appropriate time it takes ups to respond and investigate these claims the owner of our store [redacted] issued [redacted] a payout in the form of a [redacted] money order ( good as cash ) covering her damage and shipping costsAs [redacted] stated in her complaint she misplaced the money order and that is unfortunate however [redacted] will only need to contact [redacted] to get the money order tracked and re-issued by [redacted] (This information was given to ***)The complaint from [redacted] says [redacted] did re send her the [redacted] stubs via email that [redacted] confirmed were correct and we can not re-issue a money order twice as we would be paying the claim twice and by no means would we have offered to re-issue the money again [redacted] did contact the store via phone calls a few times and was told that [redacted] is the owner and is not in the store often and she could talk to the store manager in regards to her issue [redacted] declined our offer multiple times saying she would only talk to [redacted] however [redacted] was unavailable for us to contact do to private matters at that timeWe feel we have done everything in our power to help [redacted] and are sorry she feels like we should have done more we would like for [redacted] to know she can contact [redacted] (The stores manager) anytime the store is open and [redacted] would be glad to help her with any information or questions she may still haveThank you for your timeMail Biz lake blvd Redding, ca 96003Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pmSat9am-2pmSunday - ClosedPhone [redacted] Fax [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree with all of the statements made by Mail BizI was not told that I could contact *** *** myself nor did I realize that I could or I certainly would have. I live Miles from the place of business so it was not possible for me to drop in and speak to someone personallyIt was my understanding that *** would need to contact the *** *** since it was he who sent the money order/checkThat is why I kept trying to contact him to resolve the issueI was NOT told that I could contact the store manager, nor did I ever decline to do so, I certainly would have done so If I tthought anyone else would be able to help meI asked for *** simply because he was the one who I was refered to when I first called about the lost package. Now that I know that I can contact *** *** myself I will do so and see If I can resolve this matterI will contact you with my resultsThank you for your help with this matter
