The homeowner was not there It is her rude friend's word against an American Hero We will have to agree to disagree

I am disappointed that after less than a month after having my furnace, my furnace was not workingWhen I called his emergency number(11/30/17),I did not get a call backI called the following morning and scheduled a service call later in the afternoonThe technician came and he would not even remove the flamesensorMy friend was not rude or disrespectful AQS never called me until Monday, not caring if had no heat over the weekend. The company that responded (Modern Aire), came that same day and cleaned the flame sensorSee the attached invoice. As far as my utility room, I have not used hairspray in my utility room in over a year. Larry(AQS) says he has a recording of my friend leaving a harsh message.I would love to hear that messageI feel it is really sad, that when you pay a business for service and in less than days, they charge you againIt is easy to take advantagesenior citizens

Thank you Revdex.com for getting involved, after a 20-minute phone conversation with e-mail repeating this conversation, I agreed to disagree with Ms*** and provided her with the Revdex.com contact informationMs*** has been our customer for over 10-years. AQS bought the company, 8-years ago, that
I formally worked for and that installed this furnace for her. There has been a long history with Ms*** and flame senor issues, beginning with her fixing her hair in the mornings in the small room where this furnace is located using hair spray, which she stopped doing after losing heat. She also keeps a litter box in front of the furnace still till this day. Both are issues that cause a coating to develop on a flame sensor when airborne and in the furnace flame, which causes premature failure. We have taken great care of Ms*** over the years; the only issue here is the man that she sent to meet our technicianAQS takes immense pride in our “Heroes Work Here” hiring and training program, where we hire Veterans and Active Military Reservists. We sent out our technician Cortland, an United States Navy Reservists E-Electrician, to help her. He was met by a rude and condescending individual that seemed to know more about furnaces than this trained professional, but oddly enough had not fixed the furnace himself. Cortland contacted our office to make us aware of this treatment. Our office was soon after contacted by this individual and witnessed the same rude behavior, so we informed him that we will only deal with the homeowner. I hope this behavior had nothing to do with our technician being an African-American Hero, but there are still a lot of ignorant bigots in the worldAll of this is our word against this individual that does not own the property, since the homeowner was never presentThe furnace was serviced earlier this fall and flame sensor was cleaned with alcohol, by manufacture specifications. It was pulling lower micro-amps, but within -acceptable range. When our technician returned on December 1st, he was reading below the threshold and recommended it be replaced. The rude individual immediately began belittling our technician, so collected the & $diagnostic fee only, left and called the office. I contacted Ms*** and informed her what had happened told her we will no longer work at her home with the rude friend present. I went over with her the things that she had continued to do, the litter box placement, that could cause this flame sensor to fail. I also offered to deduct the $diagnostic from the $OEM flame sensor replacement needed. I had not heard back from her until she once again e-mailed me demanding the diagnostic fee be reimbursed or she would file a Revdex.com complaint, so I provided the contact info Ms*** also said that someone else had done a better job of cleaning the flame sensor to work better. This is usually the work of an inexperienced technician or homeowner using sand paper or other abrasives for temporary heat, but removes the manufactured coating and she will find that it will soon fail

The homeowner was not there.  It is her rude friend's word against an American Hero.  We will have to agree to disagree.
