Initial Business Response /* (4000, 8, 2015/09/25) */
I did show respect to the customer but when he became hostile towards my techs and myself asking if you are the one coming to my house and state "well you better not be"our conversation ends at that pointAs a company and as you being a
manager, should realize that we will not put our employees at risk to walk into a hostile environmentWe have the right to refuse service when we feel threatened
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (4200, 6, 2015/09/25) */
On they were supposed to show up to fix the issue basically a "be back"- service window I was given was between 3pm and 7pm - at pm I called Mike / AQS asking if we were on schedule - after a brief hold he came back and said yes but not sure what time they will be here? I questioned this and *** took offenseWhen I asked about why they didn't come back the same day I was told "we cant predict the future" while I agree with this statement the future he spoke of was literally minutes after the tech left originally - now in my area of Temecula with traffic and lights the tech could not have been more than to miles from my home yet AQS refused to come back now two days later no cool air - our conversation went down hill when I asked who would be coming to my home, AQS stated "the same tech" I asked if that was a good idea since this tech was unable to find the original problem? Mike at AQS then screamed "find another company if you don't like it!" and hung up - minutes later he was called again and he stated he would send his man - however they never showed up - hours I wasted waiting for this company on two occasions - a complete waste of time - This company needs a refresher course on customer service - customers are not the bad guys? customers is what keeps business's rollingI am a facilities manger for numerous defense contractors here in Southern California - I understand the HVAC business and how busy it can get when the weather turns hot or cold - but this does not give any company the right to disrespect a customer because the money is flowing with numerous calls for service - in my line of business the FIRST thing I do when contracting anyone for this type of service is consul the local Revdex.com - in this case you had them listed as "accredited" when I realty this company in my opinion needs that banner removed from the Revdex.com - as of today I was able to contract another company, they were able to show up within hrs same day and address the issues that AQS refused to do
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 10, 2015/09/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is an absolute non truthNOBODY was hostile at my home, we expected the AQS to fix the issue and they did not and did not come back...the compressor blew within minutes after the tech left! and they just basically told us "oh well, get back in line and wait two more days" after further review and two other visits by two other local HVAC companies to inspect the issue and AQS work they both agreed that the tech that AQS sent installed the wrong size hard start and did not check the run capacitor - when the tech first showed up from AQS he tried using a hard start to start the compressor yet it shorted his out! the tech was perplexed and went to his truck and got another and connected it and the compressor did start however it was a the wrong size hard start hard, its was actually smaller than the one used for compressors, physically smaller, which is why it only ran for minutes and blew - The new HVAC company has already removed the compressor and ordered a new one - my opinion is AQS did not come back because they new they messed up and did not want to take responsibility for this mistake - using a start kit like AQS did, which was too small, the run capacitor needs to be addressed as well, this was not even addressedIf the run capacitor is weak, the start kit will start the compressor but will let it operate with higher amperage than designedThis will shorten the compressor's life which is what this did!
I am going to also file complaints with the state licensing board against AQS - the last conversation I had with Mike at AQS is when he told me the same tech would be coming back - all I asked was "do you think that is a good idea?" he then yelled at me and told me to find another company, *** at AQS was the hostile one..I know this sounds childish but that is the truth! - AQS should NOT BE Revdex.com accredited if this is they way they perform - I have complete documentation from the new HVAC company along with pictures and video's showing all this and will be presenting to the state of CA contractor licensing board - Shame on AQS for telling non truths just to save face - all they had to do was show up and fix it - its was that simple - We also have opened complaints with the warranty company they represented - We will not be letting this go and we will pursue all avenues against the shotty workmanship of AQSLet me repeat nobody in my household was ever disrespectful, all we did was ask them to come back and finish what they started
