It is the customer's responsibility to read and understand their policy with the Home Warranty Company The Home Warranty Company will fix and repair as long as parts are still available and have failed on the unit in question This Homeowner has units in the home Each time we made a repair, it was for a different part on the downstairs unit and within guidelines of their policy Some parts have to be ordered thru the Home Warranty Company which may take to days longer to make the repair The Service Fee she paid is due as per her policy with the Warranty Company [redacted] [redacted] ??

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I do understand that it is the warranty companies responsibility but I just wanted the unit to be fixed They later came out on 07/15/and resolved the problem If there happens to be another problem I will be contacting the Revdex.com to pursue American Home Shield I didn't want to cause any confusion but it is the summer and temps were up to degrees plus in my residence and it did seem like as soon as one part was fixed or repaired, something else would breakAs I stated to the tech I am not an a/c technician but those were just my thoughts and I was incorrect I appreciate them for resolving this matter Regards, [redacted]

Here is our explanation to the complaint by Mr. [redacted].    It is Mr. [redacted]'s responsibility to read and understand his warranty policy with American Home Shield.   The phone number that appears on the caller ID is [redacted], owner of AirMack. ...

That is why number apprears as such.  American Home Shields contracts state that contractors will service homowners units during business hours, which is Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00.  Homeowners have to make themselves available during business hours.  If we happen to service homeowner after hours, that is our choice not to charge over time charges.  Mr. [redacted] needs to understand Summer months are very, very busy time of the year.  AirMack is not the company that installed Mr. [redacted]'s unit through American Home Shield.   Upon arrival to his home our tech found unit was wired improperly by the company that installed his unit.   We rewired unit and left with unit working just fine.  Mr. [redacted] had to call warranty company again for a different problem.   A T-stat wire had shorted, therefore tech had to rewire T-stat, and left with unit working properly at that time.  Then again Mr. [redacted] had to call warranty company to have us come back out to replace new blower motor which went out, which can happen. Blower motor was under manufacturer warranty.   A tech can never know what part on a unit will go out next.  Hopefully this fixed his unit.  An air conditioning contractor will not sabotage a home owners unit.  The customers attic is so hot that no one in their right mind would sabatoge his unit for fear they would have to go back into the very hot attic. Attics can get up to 140 degrees or more during the Summer.   Hopefully, this will let Mr. [redacted] understand the circumstance a contractor has to go through when servicing a homeowners air conditioning units.
