Company was called was called 3 years in a row, 2016, 2017,and again 2018 for the same reason, my house AC unit stopped working and would freeze up.First year I was charged for a compasader replacement and the service man Mike told me to keep the thermostat set on 70 degrees because 68 was too low. Ive never heard of such. Next year 2017 ...same thing..AC unit is not working and freezing up..company sends Mike out again...this time he says the fuse was tripped and I need to buy better air filters because mine were too bulky. He also had to use the bathroom each time he came to my house ...of course I didn't denie...but thought that was very unprofessional for him to always use my personal restroom. Anyways its 2018...same thing again...AC not working. I call the company to complain and I feel like they should fix my unit with no charge because I feel like each time he came has been a waste. No..they said $90 to send someone out. I had my boyfriend call the company to talk to someone and the man from the company yelled at my boyfriend on the phone saying he didn't appreciate him saying that they didn't do their job. I FEEL that this company needs to FIX my unit at no charge. Ive paid for their service twice and still the problem isnt fixed. I dont want the service man Mike back at my house...I want them to send someone else. They have terrible customer service.

From: Ash M Date: Fri, Jul 20, 2018 at 10:58 AMSubject: Response to Complaint “In response to this customer’s concern and request:

Yes, we provided service to this customer. The first service call was on August 4, 2016. Her outdoor unit had a bad capacitor which we replaced as a warranty part and only charged labor. The unit worked for the approximately a year and then we received another call on May 18,2017 for no A/C and she said the indoor unit had frozen up. When we arrived, the filter had been changed and the breaker to the outdoor unit was in the tripped position. We reset the breaker and the unit came on. We checked the amp draw and the freon charge. Everything was okay at the time. Then a year later we received another call in May 2018 for no A/C. Prior to receiving a call, the customer posted a bad review on google stating we had been out 2 previous times to work on her A/C and complained the tech ask to use the bathroom. For some reason she waited a year to post a bad review about a call that occurred on May 18, 2017 then wanted us to come out and work on her unit at no charge.
When a unit is working for a year and a customer expects free service to make repairs this would be considered by any company to be unreasonable. HVAC units are mechanical units and need to be serviced 2 times a year. Air filters need to be changed regularly.
We are happy to respond to reasonable requests. Unfortunately, this customer has made an unreasonable request for free service after a unit has worked for a year.
The discussion with the boyfriend was civil and we are not sure how this was considered yelling - no one had to yell on the phone.
Regarding the low freon and different size fuse from the breaker - the breaker can be different from the fuse size. The wire size and the manufacturer rating for ampacity are the important factors.
If this unit has developed a leak in the past year the new contractor should do a leak check to determine if the indoor coil is leaking.
Our last trip a year ago did not show low freon. Freon leaks can happen at any time. We recommend this customer find a company she is happy with to provide a maintenance agreement to come out 2 times a year for regular service. We also recommend she monitors the air filters. Dirty filters will adversely affect many components in the system and will shorten the life of the system.

Thank you,
