The verbal discussions never included the word “furnace” or any indication that I was being sold a furnace or any part of the heating system The attached invoices clearly state cooling problem, refrigerant low There was no heating problem Never was a locking cap offered despite a known problem with refrigerant theft in the area and I will never know if this unit was actually ok (Locking cap fixed the refrigerant loss problem on my other unit at a later date and they told me refrigerant loss was a known problem.) I asked that they replace the ac unit with the same brand and I was told that they could not get it I asked for a less expensive brand than Lennox and was told they could not get it The technician, Justin, with whom I spoke most recently said that they can in fact get other less expensive brandsI asked him if the same held true two years ago and he said yesThe proposal form is cryptic to the layman with all the jargon and tiny boxes Given that the verbal discussions were only about the AC system and the invoices leading up to the replacement only discussed refrigerant and cooling, I believed I was getting just an AC system and not a heating system as wellThe original proposal did not have the “Furn”box checked (assuming this means furnace) and it was revised because they failed to give me the discount that they promised, which was in fact a refund of the charges related to the failed attempts to repair the unit Upon receipt of the revised contract I had no reason to believe that they would change anything beside the price to reflect the discount I have also attached a screen shot of a negative review Rich Prater, owner of Air Squad posted on my business facebook page, LaBella Farm, a horse training business in Iowa My business has never served him and I believe this action was retaliatory with his sole purpose being to hurt me
