Air Tech HVAC, Inc. Reviews (9)

I, [redacted], met with the [redacted] at their residence on 1/20/16 to discuss the complaint filed. It was my conclusion that all of the information provided by Airtech was true and correct. The solar system was tested and working properly at time of...

inspection. The solar system does qualify for a Federal Tax credit of $7200.       [redacted] company was the bank in charge of the loan for the program. The [redacted] signed all applications, disclosures and payment authorizations prior to commencement of project. [redacted] contested the loan with [redacted] on 2/2/16 which Airtech was notified.       After hours of investigating this complaint, It has been decided by Airtech managment and Airtech owners, this complaint by [redacted] is not valid and only based on speculation.

I, [redacted], Attempted to resolve this matter by offering a $1000 to the family as good faith payment to close the complaint. my offer was declined 8/4/16 by [redacted].

[redacted],
We are willing and able to assist [redacted] in completing the project at his home as agreed upon per the contract. We have tried numerous times to schedule a time for our team to go out to his home to complete the project and we did not hear a response. We are prepared to complete...

the project per the contract when Mr. [redacted] is available.
Thank you.

In a dispute with the company. They sold and installed $12,000 worth of Windows in my 87 yr old fathers home. He already had dual pane beautiful bunks Windows!! My father couldn't tell me when they did it or who did it. He is confused and they maliciously took advantage of his condition. He had no idea what he was doing and I believe they knew it. They even sold him Windows for his patio that is not insulated and has a thin fiberglass panels for roof covering. I built it 26 Yrs ago and installed single pane for a reason!! It is a patio!! Blatant example of preying on older senior gentleman. They should hang their heads in shame...

Review: My 86 year old father who lives in Placerville has been scammed by this company. They sold and installed 12 thousand dollars worth of dual pane windows. They removed and replaced EXISTING dual pane windows, and installed dual pane windows in a non insulated patio. They left no paperwork as to what work was performed. They left no information as to any guarantee or warranty. When we called them about this, all they said was "I'll try to find the paperwork".

When challenged as to why they would do this to an elderly person, all they said was " we asked him 3 times" if he wanted new windows and he said "yes". At his age and his present state of mind, he can hardly remember what day it is, let alone make an informed decision regarding major renovations. This company had a signed contract and did do the work. However, to take advantage of a person like my dad is ethically and morally reprehensible. It might even be criminal as I believe this is elder abuse by a business. This company should not be allowed to do business!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for my dad and an apology from this company, along with a promise to operate in an ethical manner and never take advantage of the elderly in the future.

Review: On September 24,2014 we purchased solar panels from Air Tech on the premise that the panels would "significantly reduce our electric bill."They did not.We were told by the sales representative Joe Noonan that 12 panels would be sufficient to handle the amount of power we were using. We received our [redacted] true up bill at the end of the year in the amount of $5396.35.

[redacted] wants $445.00 a month to pay off this amount. We called the Solar Division Billing department and were told that 12 panels were not enough and that we had received no reduction on our bill.We were also told that we would receive an estimated amount of $5000.00 tax refund when we filed taxes which we could apply to our loan and then modify our loan therefore reducing our payments. This was all either in writing or promised by their salesman.

We believe that this is either deceptive sales tactics or just plain incompetence on the part of Air Tech. We feel we were lied to from the very beginning. If we had known we were not receiving a tax refund to reduce our bill we never would have done business with the company.

We have has several meeting set up to meet with the owner Mr.[redacted] to rectify the situation and he has cancelled each time. There is a two year warranty on the panels. And since they did not do the job they were supposed to do we would like them removed.Desired Settlement: We feel we should be reimbursed for the amount of the loan and the [redacted] bill we never should have received.

The breakdown is as follows:

Loan amount $24,000.00

[redacted] bill $5396.35

For a tolal of $29,396.35

Review: The Trust is gone.Mr.[redacted], I thought when you came over with [redacted] your (point salesman) for this job things were going to get better. It has not; as a matter of fact things have gotten worse. At the end of that meeting you and [redacted] agreed to wait until the last person was out of the attic and I would call you. Then [redacted] asked me for the electrician name and number and so I provided it for him. At this point [redacted] has broken his promise. He and his staff bullied and harassed my wife and I about making a progress payment without the job being completed. I never made any agreement for progress payments. [redacted] came to my house, yelling at me with profanity's and posed threats stating if I didn't pay him a progress payment he would lien the house. My wife and I have lost sleep over this. [redacted] then crossed the line by trying to involve my sister in law and other family members. Calling her house. The following never has been done.1.Inspection has not done or passed 2 .Insulation installed 3.Vent installed correctly in master bath room. 4.Inspection to receive my PG&E inspection for credit (a main sales point [redacted] offered)These are only the most important items he did not complete; There are others still outstanding. I'm a senior and don't appreciate this kind of treatment. Airtech's salesman [redacted], promised over and under delivered. I'm interviewing other Hvac company's to solve the problems that have not been completed or fixed.Desired Settlement: I'll pay Air Tech $10,000 For the system and work they have done so far. but that's it.

Business

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY IN AMERICA - CROOKS!!!!!!!!!

My 80 year old mother bought a new $9K unit and it has never worked since the installation. It has been 4 months and the company won't replace it with a new one. All they do is send out a technician and try and fix the problem which lasts a few days and then back to ZERO heat in the dead of Winter. As my mother freezes to death in her own house, the owner say's: "you didn't buy it from me" - "you bought it from the manufacture". That is who you have to follow up with. Oh, ya - what a nice way to do business.I being her son have called numerous times and can only speak to the receptionist. NO ONE WILL CALL BACK. This company is by far the WORST. How they are in business in beyond me. STAY AWAY - SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I recently had Airtech install new ac unit and ducting in my home. I am satisfied with the work they did. The new unit keeps me comfortable and my bills are lower!!!!! thanks guys for the hard work and great job! - BJ
