I paid to have an air conditioning unit installed plus electricalThe electrical was not completed correctly since my heater no longer works.I had an air conditioning unit installed by Air Temperature Service on June 4th and the electrical portion of the unit installed on June 5th[redacted] (the [redacted] of ATS) had provided an electrician as part of my service agreementAfter the electrician and [redacted] left my house, I realized my heater no longer turned on via the thermostat even though it had been working prior to the A/C installI called and emailed [redacted] that day and repeatedly after the factI even sent a picture of the thermostat inquiring if it was just wired incorrectlyI have been told my complaint is not important and he is very busy with other clients, but that he won't forget about meHowever, several weeks later when I called again on July 13th he admitted to forgetting about my issue and again put off the repairHe keeps telling me to call him back in order to schedule an appointment, however every time I call he tells me to call a week laterThis has happened several times already to the point where it has been almost months since the installAs of July 20th, he is not returning my callsThis is unacceptableI paid for a service and I expect the entire job to be completedIf not, then he should at a minimum be paying to have an electrician of my choosing complete the job he did not finishI expect this to be resolved as soon as possible or I will seek legal actionI will also contact my town inspector since as far as I know no permit was pulled for the electrical work.Desired SettlementI'm requesting completion of the service paid for ASAPI expect the a/c unit and heater to be working appropriately via the installed thermostat.Business Response Yes, we did install central air system in customers home and yes customer did call me a few days later and said heat is not working, so I said since you do not need your heat for months, could you please be patient and wait until we slow down from A/C season and we will come back and see what the problem might be, not knowing whether or not we had caused problem.so I would get a phone call about times a week asking me when I was coming back to check on heat in July, and I kept saying when we slow down from A/C season I would be glad to come back and check heat, knowing they did not need heat for months and me knowing I had every intention of going back and finding problem well before they would need heat,but they wanted it done now, anyway it has been repaired and well before heating season Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No I do not accept this responseThe [redacted] of the A/C company has been rude the entire timeSince June 4th, he has hung up on me, left rude voicemails and text messages and has never apologized for his lack of customer serviceWhen he yelled at me saying I did not need heat until the fall, I asked for my check back with the intention of paying in full after the job was completeI even asked for just the electrical portion of the payment since he had hired the electricianHe never responded to my request and instead quickly cashed my checkHe never communicated to me the electrician's name for the entire two months I was having a problemHe never even took five minutes to diagnose the problemHe repeatedly told me to call back in a few weeks and that he wouldn't forget about my issueEvery time I called, I was told he was very busy, my issue was unimportant, and to call backThe last time I spoke with [redacted] he admitted to forgetting what my issue wasCome the fall, what guarantee do I have that he would fix my problem when he doesn't remember after two months and he has already been paidAlso, once the A/C season finsihes the heating season begins which is another busy seasonThe only reason I obtained the electrician's contact info was after calling my town electrical inspectorI found out [redacted] nor the electrician had logged a permit for their workThe inspector had to reach out to each of them and insist they return to my house to finish the jobWhen [redacted] did arrive at my house, he took a half a second to realize they never wired the thermostatHow did he not notice when he installed it in June if it was that obvious after removing the panel? After [redacted] and the electrician ran the wire and left my house, I had to call the inspector since they didn't notify him on their ownThe inspector stated they had previously used my heater wire for the A/C which would then make the heater unable to workThe inspector found an issue with the work done, so the electrician still has to returnTherefore, the job I paid for is still not completeEven when everything is working, I still will not be happy since [redacted] has not once owned up to his lack of follow-through with the installationHe has stated multiple times that I am his only impatient customer which makes me fear this is a business practice for him.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No, I do not accept this responseIn his voice mail, [redacted] states that it's not going to take until September yet it pretty much did only because I called my inspector to get [redacted] to complete the jobHe has repeatedly stated he doesn't have time and he's very busy and other people need things running and they are a priorityMy expectation was I should have received at least a moderate level of customer service from a company that has been in business for over yearsHe has resorted to sending text messages only ever since he hung up on us lastIf a service is paid for in full, it should be completedInstead, I was continually told my issue was unimportantI have the email I sent to my town inspector where I clearly stated the heater was not workingI never told the inspector that I had a problem with my A/C so this is a complete lie on [redacted]'s partFeel free to ask me for the email or to reach out to the inspector himselfThe inspector said the heater should have been fixed since I had already paid in full and that I should not have had to wait for months to have it fixedHe could not believe the lack of customer service on [redacted]'s partIt does not matter whether I'm using the heater or notBoth units should be workingSadly, it took calling the inspector in order to get [redacted] to come back to my house with his electrician or else I would still be waiting[redacted] never even provided the electrician's name so I could reach out myselfIt does not matter if I am not using the heater in months or daysI paid for a service and that service was not completedThe electrician himself could not believe that [redacted] had not been back to resolve the issue and that he said to contact him directly going forwardI should not have had to call (and be told to call in a week or two over and over again), nor should I have had to call the inspector on this company's behalf since they neglected to pull a permit for their work[redacted] should have, at a minimum, stopped by my house to diagnose the problem to verify there wasn't a serious problemHe should have also reached out with an appointment day and time to fix his wiring mistakeOver two months to fix this is completely unacceptable and it is still not fixed since the inspector has not passed [redacted] jobI am still waiting for the electrician to return to do work requested by the inspector[redacted] did not have time for us before but since we contacted the inspector and Revdex.com he seems to have plenty of time to call us complaining and send us unnecessary rude text messagesWe have the voice mails and text messages if you would like to see/hear themWe have proof of everything unlike [redacted] who only has liesEven until now, [redacted] has not once apologized or tried to make this rightInstead he insists on blaming us for being impatient and not waiting around for months for him to resolve the problem whenever he feels like itEven in his response to you it show his true colors, "but no she wanted her heat on when she wanted it on." Wouldn't you want what you paid for? Final Business Response What I said to central air conditioning customer was, I have many customers that need air conditioning up and running and yes in July air conditioning is the priority, I ask customer could she please wait until we slowed down a little and then I would see what the problem was with her heating system.but no, she called me every week in July and said she wanted her heat on nowI never said her situation was unimportant, I said at this time of year air conditioning is a priorityThe inspector did call me and he stated to me that her A/C was not working and because we installed itI called her immediately and ask her if she had a problem with her A/C and she said no, its my heat not working in July, I was never rude, and we set up a time to come out and take a look at her heat which was resolved by adding another wireCustomer keeps talking about a permit not being pulled, we do not need a permit for the work we did, only the electrician needed to pull a permit and he is solely responsible for his permitI was never rude, never sent rude text/ all I asked was if she could please wait until we were not so busy with our A/C customers, I said your A/C is working please let us resolve your heat issue when we slow down from A/C work, now she wants to post a complaint to hurt me monetarily, I will not sit by and let her tell lies, again, I was not rude in ether text or messages it may take a judge and jury to decide this one.I have not had a complaint filed against me in the years i'v been in business
