During two recent phone conversations with her grandmother (owner of the pickup) she expressed complete satisfaction with the service and repairs we have performed on her pickup since she became a customer of ours in 2012 and was surprised her granddaughter and boyfriend had brought her pickup into our shops with transmission issues. On more than one occasion we had advised [redacted]'s grandmother that cost to repair this almost 26 year old pickup with at least 247,000 miles (odometer has been broken prior to 2012) may not be worth the investment. Her response was always "it was my son's pickup and I would rather repair it than buy another used vehicle and probably have to pay for repairs to it". Because of threatened legal action by [redacted] we will not make any additional comments regarding this complaint. At the request of the grandmother we have given her a quote to replace the transmission on her pickup at cost only.

I suppose each side has their own "story". I only want to make others aware of what happened to me and my family. Of course, it's anyone's choice, as to where they maintain their vehicle.
I didn't complain to do anything other than state the facts for the public and let the business know that what they did was not right.
IF my grandmother had been satisfied with their services and agreed to allow them to "fix" the truck (whether it is 26 years old or 70 years old), then she would have let them have it back instead of having us pick it up from their lot... ONCE AGAIN, NOT "fixed".
Also, I made no "threatened legal action" statements.
Bottom line, the "service" that we received for [redacted] was not sufficient and if they couldn't make it sufficient then they should have sent our business away and not just taken the payments for services that couldn't be done correctly. I have proof of services and photos of faulty parts that this company installed and broke. If the vehicle "wasn't worth the investment", then why did she invest? And why did they accept the work?
It is my job as a citizen and business owner to make unaware people aware of such places who perform faulty services and their services and parts were definitely faulty!
