Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2014/10/09) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] , President Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @airtreatmentinc.com While I understand the customer's frustration we do try and maintain a fully stocked truck but we just are not always able to have every part on our trucks at all timeDue to the magnitude of different manufacturer's and different parts it is neither practical nor feasibleThe following reasons may put the charges more in perspective to our situation: We are not able to stock all the different thermostats in the service vehicles at all times Even if we had picked up the thermostat prior to going to the customer's house there still would have been a charge to drive to the supply house to pick up the thermostat whether this trip was prior to the visit or afterwards Lastly, I would estimate that over 90% of the time, the customer is incorrect when they tell us what they believe is wrong with the system, if we picked up every part prior to verifying what the true cause of the problem was then more often than not we would have to charge to pick up an incorrect part as well as an additional amount to return this part back to the supply houseThis would cause an additional financial burden to our customers While we do stand behind our reason for the charge we also value the relationship we have with the [redacted] and we are willing to waive the trip charge in this instanceWe will be contacting the homeowner to arrange the best way to handle this [redacted]
