The Customer has been informed that the Company will conduct a Service Call as soon as someone is available, in that area, as it is not a life-threatening condition. The Company does not normally offer Service Calls for products that were not provided by the Company, nor Service a Used System installed by a different Company, particularly when they are not warrantied by the Company.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:You are fully aware of this dispute as it has been going on for a long time. If you need clarification you may look back on the communication for complaint ID [redacted].We were contacted by Air, Wind and Solar on Tuesday, April 18, they claimed to be unaware of previous employees behavior and assured us that it would not continue. After speaking they referred us to a different department which would return our call. It is now Friday, April 21, outside of our initial conversation we have called 8 times and left 3 messages. At this point we have received no resolution.Regards,[redacted]
Please see below for Air Wind & Solar, Inc.'s Response:Air Wind & Solar, Inc. has been very up-front about the project for the Customer. The customer's installation has been delayed by two factors. 1) Gaining approval for installation of the Solar System on the Customer's...
Utility's Grid & 2) Gaining approval from the Customer's Municipality for the installation. Until the Utility approves the installation, as designed, Air Wind & Solar, Inc. can not move forward with acquiring the permits required for the installation, in case the Utility requires a design change. Once the Installation was approved by the Utility, Air Wind & Solar, Inc. applied for the permits for the Customer's Detached, Elevated Ground Mounted Solar System. Unfortunately, there was some issues with the permitting process, through no fault on Air Wind & Solar, Inc.'s side. The Municipality was unsure of the correct Permitting Class for the Project. One of our Project Managers has been working daily with the Municipality to resolve the issues on their end, but it has caused a delay. In an effort to rectify the delay for the Customer, Air Wind & Solar, Inc. has assigned priority to his installation and attached a Project Manager to oversee the installation in detail. The Customer will be contacted directly by his Project Manager who is personally overseeing the installation about the installation date. Furthermore, Air Wind & Solar, Inc. is addressing the Dec. 3rd deadline with the Utility in order to assure that the Customer does not lose any rebate money. It is true that we strive to have an install completed no later than 90 days from the time of contracting. However, there are aspects that are dependent on third party time frames, Utility Approval & Municipal Approval being one of them, that can cause a project to go over a 90 day period.
[redacted], we are scheduling someone to perform a preliminary inspection. It should occur this week or next.

I am rejecting this response because: The form referred to is one that asks us to fill out the amount of production we have each day. Since June there has been no production. This fact is supported by CPS energy. However, my husband was in the process of putting down zero's when a representative of the company hired by Air, Wind & Solar ([redacted] who works for Advanced Virtual Outsource) called and told my husband that we did not have to fill out the forms since they did not relate to our problem. He said that he thought it was the inverter, as he had been fixing such problems for some time. He said he would charge $140 to come to our house to evaluate the situation. My husband said that he would get back to him after he talked to me. I agreed so the next day my husband sent the email saying we would pay the $140. We have heard nothing since then, which was at least a month ago. First, we resent having to pay a company to come out to check a system that was, at the time of our complaint, still under warranty. Secondly, after agreeing to pay, we still have not had anyone come out to check our system. In the meantime, we are paying large electricity bills to CPS and we are paying with interest the cost of putting in a system that does not work.
