afternoon, I am writing this letter to respond to Ms***'s complainti spoke with her multiple times in may when she f*t contacted me about her lack of satisfaction for what my office doneupon contacting her she expressed her concern for how MsW*** did her tax returns for the yeari asked her what was incorrect and what she wanted to be correctedshe explained it to me and that this error was hindering her from her home purchase due to income to debt ratioi stated that I would personally handle fixing the issue if there was indeed an error she said no she wanted $and that she did not wanted us to correct the issuei at that point asked how she got to asking for a refund of $when no monies had ever exchanged handsshe stated because that is the fee we charge to do amendmentsi again stated you never paid for an amendment you never paid for our services it was done as a trade-off between yourself and MsW*** whom is not my wife, as she statedMs*** continued to call me and threaten me stating she spoke to her neighbor and was going to contact an attorney I told he that was fine and we will handle this in Civil courti offered to correct the issue she refused, she stated she wanted a refund I told her if she can show me a receipt that she paid MsW*** any funds I would reimburse her she stated she had no receiptsAs for the envelopes not being opened we used the information and put the information in to new sealed envelopes to keep our clients information safeFurther more as to MsW*** filing her tax returns with out her signature that is a statementthe *** will not accept returns without the clients signingMs*** was emailed a copy of all of her tax returns and the accounting work for her approval prior to us moving forward with the submitting processShe approved all the workEven when she contacted me about this situation I asked her were there any other issues with the other files she stated noI hate that Ms*** feels that we are a eye sour to small businesses, but I cant help her if she was not willing to cooperateI offered to correct the problem she said no, I offered to refund her money if she showed me proof she paid my office never got a receipt nor did she ever pay for any servicesAs for the $she is speaking of that was for bookkeeping which was done for and handled by someone else, when she called me she stated that her income taxes for was incorrect and needed to be redone those are different services Please feel free to contact me with any further issues Lester CA*** III

Poorly Run and Managed Business. 
 
 This business should be avoided at all costs.  There are legitimate accounting businesses in the Houston area that provide quality service, unfortunately Simple Term tax Center does not.  Go online and read their bad reviews.  I wish I had taken time to thoughly  vet this business prior to signing on with them.  Shotty work, shady owners who lack interiority.  Buyer Beware.  My taxes are a mess and they were e-fiiled without consent. 
 
This company has bad online reviews. which are well deserved.
