This complaint actually involves this business as well as another We were required to purchase our mailbox through Integrity Mailboxes when we purchased our house A little over year ago, the hinge broke so we began trying to replace it After finding that we could not purchase a hinge locally to fit, we began contacting this business After several messages and many months later - almost a year - we were finally able to get a return call We were told the cost of the hinge was $ After a few communications, it was determined that the only way for us to obtain the hinge was for the owner to leave it at a local storage place of her choosing, Appletree Storage, which is the second business of complaint Their address is Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70810, phone number is 225-767- We were instructed to place $in an envelope, write "Integrity Mailboxes" on the front, and leave it with the gentleman in the Storage store, that he would have the hinge there for us to pick up I placed a $bill in an envelope, and made the exchange with the only person inside the store when I got there, a man with short dark hair He took the envelope marked "Integrity Mailboxes" and gave me the hinge A few weeks later I received a text message from the owner of Integrity Mailboxes telling me she was shocked to learn that I had picked up the hinge without leaving payment in return I immediately called her and explained that I did in fact leave an envelope with the gentleman as instructed, with $ So somehow this envelope with the money disappeared before reaching her My purpose for the complaint against Integrity Mailboxes is to warn other consumers of the poor business practices of this company, almost impossible to get ahold of someone or get a return phone call regarding their products And the Appletree Storage for the obvious tampering with the envelope and the cash disappearing from their possession and not ensuring that it was properly delivered where it was intended

Our Home owner association and neighborhood has these architectural mailboxes installed According to our by-laws the home owner must maintain etc or be fined and have a possible levy assigned against their property Over time the numbers have been popped off by children or fallen off as they were only stuck on with sided tape or epoxied to resecure I contacted them to get replacement numbers and was given an absurbed quote of $per number The same exact numbers could be found online for $per number The developer of the property apparently had a connection with them as they are the listed supplier according to the by-laws As like the other complaint, some vague instructions of money in an envelope and dropped off at a storage unit location was given This is obviously some sort of scam in 3rd party dealings I bought the numbers elsewhere and permanently attached - braised to the metal
