I have used Aire Solutions for years now. They have been great. They show up on time, tell me what they need to do and then do it. Their maint emcee agreement is very convenient and saves me money. I wish I would have found them earlier.

I had a new Trane Heat pump system installed and from start to finish Aire Solutions was professional and was quick to answer any questions that I could come up with. They worked quick and efficiently, making sure my system was working at its peak in order for me to have the best results possible. I highly recommend Aire Solutions to everyone.

Thanks ***, we appreciate your business!

I hired Aire Solutions, tech named ***, to repair my ac unit. He determined my thermostat to be defective. He replaced it with the *** thermostat I had already purchased, but was aware of all of my issues regarding the *** working properly (been there and done it and the *** had given me problems before) yet he offered no other solution. I called *** the next day, less than 12 hours after he “fixed” my ac and he refused to come out without charging me another service fee. That is 100% against company posted policies. He refused to let me speak with a manager and told me one would call me Monday, this was Saturday. My house has 2 small children and 6 animals, I can’t provide adequate shelter for them when my house is 86 plus degrees. But that didn’t matter to *** or Aire Solutions. Instead they took my money, after fixing nothing, and refused to come back out to fix the issue, the same issue I paid them less than 1 day ago to resolve. I’m livid. I had to hire another company to come out, they determined my old thermostat was fine and just needed new batteries. My ac is running perfectly for over 24 hours now, it’s clear *** lied. My thermostat was never defective, and he refused to even troubleshoot his work without it costing me another $90. This is unacceptable business practices. I want my money refunded for everything except their stupid service fee. I understand service fees are required but I’m not paying them a dime over $90 as he didn’t fix a single thing.

This matter has been settled with the customer. I had logged in to respond the other day and could not find it, and thought the customer had removed it, but then got a letter today.

When we contacted the customer it became apparent that the customer had not been in communication with the boyfriend with whom we were dealing and did not know the extent that we had gone to take care of him. I have attached the start of the original 1 star *** review that was posted and the the updated 4 star. Also her email to us about the original complaint.

We installed a new system for the ***We did not replace the existing duct system as everything was intact and appeared ok
The old system was heat only so their was no history of the performance of the duct system with air conditioningAfter the install, the ducts begin sweatingWe then gave the *** a proposal to replace the ductsWe did ask them to pay since it was not included in the original proposalThey would have needed to pay at the beginning and we were not charging anymore to do the replacement at this point than we would have if it were done with the original installationAfter much discussion, Aire Solutions agreed to replace the ducting at no charge and the *** agreed to take care of any issues with the ceilingIf you will visit our web page - www.airesolutions.net and click on the customer reviews at the bottom of the page, you will see a review by the *** on 7-indicating the situation is resolved to their satisfaction

I bought a $10,000 unit from this company in May 2018 and have been complaining since May 2018 that the unit does not cool my home. It's now cold and the unit does not heat my home. I have text messages that indicate that my utility bill should be around $100 but my bill was $310 because the unit runs non stop.

On May 15, 2018, Aire Solutions installed a Trane package heat pump to replace the existing split system A/C and electric heat system that was in the customer’s home. The customer paid $9700.00 and in addition, the customer got to retain a $600 utility rebate ($9100 net investment) The original unit was a 36,000 BTU unit and due to the customer being dissatisfied with the performance, we installed a 48,000 BTU system. Also, the customer was sold a XR14 series unit but due to there being a delay in the availability of this particular unit, we upgraded the customer to an XL15 series system (higher efficiency and nicer all-around unit) at no additional charge.

After installation, we had several calls from the customer about the unit not keeping up. Every time we checked the system, we found the operating parameters to be in line with the manufacturers specifications. We repeatedly noted a very leaky pet door near the return and ask that it be repaired. That was just repaired this past month. We also requested previous years utility bills to compared (Customer had just moved the mobile home to this location so the utility bills only went back to October of 2017) When reviewing the bills, we noted that the lowest bill was $135. (typically, you have 1 bill in spring and fall where you use virtually no heating or cooling. We use that as a base and assume that the heating and cooling cost are the difference between the base and the total bill in the other months.) If you take the 7 bills after we installed the system and subtract the $135 from that, we have and $84 a month average difference, which would be the total for heating and cooling costs.

That being said, we have been concerned about the complaint of the unit not maintaining temperature. We have never failed to respond to a call from this customer and have not left them. We have made visual inspection of the duct system several times and can see no issues and the customer tells us that others have indicated no problems with the duct system. We are still working to find why the home is not staying comfortable even with a 33% larger unit. At this point (and previous to this complaint being filed) we had requested the customer let us access their system via the internet to monitor it. That is scheduled to happen on Jan. 3rd, 2019. We plan to stay on this until we can get a resolution.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: the unit still doesn’t work, and until it gets fixed I will continue to reject your responses. Also, I have messages that state my utility bill would be around $100 and it’s over $300 this month. Which is approximately $50 more than it was last year and I didn’t have this so called “energy efficient” unit. Plus for such a “nice” unit it doesn’t even heat nor cool my home. I have complained since May and nothing has been done. Our doggy door that is not leaking by the way, has been covered for months now. My house was 65 the other morning and I had it set on 72. You had an employee who apparently has been fired now because he was lying to customers well he lied to me. And because he was your employee it’s your problem to fix. Thank you!!(:

Sincerely

We continue to work with this customer. We did get her unit hooked to the internet and are pulling data. As you can see by the attached graph, on January 4th of this year the unit showed near perfect temperature control. The maximum variation from set point was for a few minutes when it was 1.3 degrees off. This does not align with the customer's complaint that she will have the unit set on 72 and it is 67 in the home. Also as far as run time, the unit does not run all the time as customer has stated. The run time we monitored (we have weeks now and they are all the same ) is consistent with an air source heat pump in our market. A properly sized single speed unit will hit 100% run time at about 25 degrees. Above that temp, the unit will cycle on and off to maintain temperature and below 25 ( +/ - ), the auxiliary heat strips will cycle on and off to maintain temp. This particular unit is a 2 stage compressor that will run on low till more heat is needed then stage to high. Even with the extended run time of the 2 stage unit, we accumulated less than 14 hours of run during this 24 hour period. The outdoor temp during this period was in the mid 30s to just over 40 degrees which is pretty normal for our area in early January. We have submitted data to Trane to see if there is anything they can see. As per previous response, the average heating and cooling costs on her system will be less than $100/month. Lastly, we just did a level 1 infrared scan of the home and found that there are some serious deficiencies with the insulation in the roof of the home. This is a modular home that had been repaired or reworked and sold and delivered to the customer in late 2017 is what we understand.

Revdex.com:
Air solutions has come and worked on the system, however we did have to pay another person to come fix some duct work that he stated air solutions messed up. Anyway, as of right now the unit has been heating like it should but it has not been getting as cold. Whenever it gets down to in the teens is when it doesn’t heat properly. So for now I accept the answer but if it continues to mess up once the weather drops then I will be contacting you again!
Sincerely
