Aire to the Throne Reviews (2)

Aire to the Throne just gave us service that is above and beyond anything we could have expected. They installed a new water heater for us about 4.5 years ago and hooked up the pressure release drain in the normal fashion. When we came to sell our home, an over zealous inspector decided the drain system didn't suit him so we called Aire to the Throne. And after nearly 5 years they came and made the modification at no charge.

My A/C compressor died nearly two weeks ago, and a work order was opened with my home warranty company and provided to Aire To The Throne on the same day. They only took one day to come out and troubleshoot the problem (early evening on a Friday), concluding that compressor needed to be replaced. My home warranty company authorized the work and paid for the new compressor through a local distributor on the following Monday (mid-afternoon), and had provided Aire To The Throne with the information needed to go pick it up. I called Aire To The Throne to schedule the next repair, but they claimed they hadn't received the necessary information and would call the home warranty company. Two days later and not having heard anything back, I called Aire To The Throne again and they claimed to still not have had the information. I called my home warranty company, who confirmed that everything was already sent. Aire To The Throne claimed to have called my home warranty company, but clearly never did. It wasn't until I called back repeatedly, and they "suddenly" received a call from my home warranty right after I called, which had me on hold for ten minutes. Now finally having the necessary information (which they had all along), it took another two days to get someone out to my house to replace the compressor. They came back out on a Friday afternoon and replaced the compressor, which worked for less than 24 hours before the refrigerant lines froze over and ceased to cool down my house. I called them again on Monday morning, and was told that they'd need to organize their calendar and call me back which would take 30 to 40 minutes. After 3.5 hours, I called back and got their voicemail after over minutes of holding. Left a voicemail, and continued to get no return call for the rest of the day. After calling again the following morning and only receiving voicemail, I gave up and had my home warranty company move the work order to another provider (who arrived the same day and troubleshot the issue).

Having spent 2 weeks of my house being 95 degrees, promised 8 call backs and received one, calling dozens of times and only getting voicemail, being lied to, being ignored, and shoddy worksmanship on replacing an A/C compressor has left me with the worst customer service experience I've ever had to put up with. The techs from this company left leaks in the system after replacing the compressor, which a new company had fixed within 15 minutes. Aside from one call back I received informing me that a tech would finally be on the way, the only other call I received was to inquire as to why the work order was cancelled after having switched to a new service contractor that would actually do their job. Aire To The Throne clearly needs to not be in business.
