Review: I went to Aries Pawn, asked for 1 month loan of $200 for Xbox One. They said they can only give $100 for a maximum of two weeks, I agreed to. The attendant wrote a one week date instead of 2 weeks date on the contract, he scribbled it off and to the left side and away from everything else. I thought nothing of it in light of the agreement we made 60 seconds prior to this moment, thinking it to be their notes. I called to confirm to pay extend fee on 5/11, one day before the two week deadline. They asked what was on the receipt, I told them I see 5/5/15, which is why I was calling, because it was the wrong date, they responded to me as if they could not have made a mistake. We agree to one term and they recorded some other agreement of the contract. I have pawned items before, enough to know how things work, something of this nature has never happened at any shop nor am I a troublemaker. The attendant made a mistake or intentionally caused an error, I cannot prove it nor will they admit to making an error to protect the business. I remember this exchange exactly as it happened, the attendant cannot recall the anything he said exactly nor my words and only makes generalizations regarding the exchange. TS: I would like to pawn this Xbox one, it is 7 months old.Attendant: What are you looking to get?TS: $200 dollars for one month.Attendant: The most we do for an item like this is $100 for two weeks. If you need to extend, the fee is $25.TS: Only One Hundred? I really don't want to do this but I have to. Alright.Attendant: Could you there, while I prepare the paperwork?TS: Fee is $100, due in two weeks and if I need to extend it is $25?Attendant: Yes.TS: Can I come in on the day of the deadline and extend for another 2 weeks or do I need to come a day before.Attendant: You can come the exact day and to pay or extend.TS: Will you take good care of it? I'll try to come as soon as I can to pick it up.Attendant: I'll treat it as my own.Desired Settlement: The business can resolve this issue by honoring what they said verbally, acknowledging they made an error and to allow me to extend the period for two weeks paying $25 or (pay the original loan price for the item to retrieve my Xbox One of $100, either is fine with me. I remember this exchange exactly as it happened, the attendant cannot recall the anything he said exactly nor my words and only makes generalizations regarding the exchange like "you were swearing up and down that you were going to pick it up in one week", which is I never said.
