Review: I had a signed year contract with this company and every year they send me a bill for a lease on a Argonne gas cylinder. Only one year of the five year contract had passed and again I received a bill for 79.13. After a phone call they refused to honor the 4 years still remaining. They now have the tank back and I want the 79.13 x 4 =316.52 for the 4 years they did not honor on our contract. After playing the I cant find the contract game on the phone, I sent a copy to them so Im sure they have it And they did acknowledge over the phone that I was right. I don't want any more to do with Airgas period, just want the previous money amount sent to me. That amount doesn't even cover my costs and loss of not being able to use that welder. This company does everything they can to ignore customer problems. You do not even get a response from them until you take it to the top and call the corporate office, and then they call, and that only takes care of things for a very short period.Desired Settlement: Sending the minimum amount of 316.52 owed to my address.

Mr. [redacted] indeed did have a renewable 1 year contract with Airgas for an Argon cylinder. These are the events leading up to the misunderstanding in chronological order:

1. April 1 2012 – we billed Mr. [redacted] a 1 year lease on invoice [redacted]

a. This was never paid

2. July 2012 – Mr. [redacted] visited our reseller location Ace Welding and requested his April 2012 1 year lease be converted to a 5 year lease. He paid $95 (our invoice [redacted])

3. April 2013 – the 1 year lease renewed on invoice [redacted] due to an error on the part of Airgas - we corrected our error and credited the billing.

a. This was paid – not paid

4. Mr. [redacted] has now returned the cylinder and per your letter would like his lease cancelled

5. We owe Mr. [redacted]

a. For invoice [redacted] - $ 0 (this invoice was never paid by the customer)

b. For Invoice [redacted] - $ 76 ($95/5 years = $19 per year ….. 4 years x $19 = $76)

c. For Invoice [redacted] - $ 0 (this invoice was never paid by the customer)

6. A refund in the amount of $76 will be mailed to [redacted] – [redacted] once you have confirmed this is an acceptable resolution.
