Airguard strives for our customer's satisfactionWe have tried and remain committed to finding a solution that is fair for both partiesWe have offered discounts and settlement terms to no avail from the clientThe home had a prior long-term occupant that was a smokerStain removal and smoke
smell reduction were the client's major concern
Upon a slow beginning to the job we met with the client to see how we could help the situationAt that time, she asked for and was given a substantial credit of $or 15% of the total quoteThis large credit was a way to compensate her for the slow start to the work, even though the agreed upon completion date had always been September 1, As promised, we made employee adjustments and worked evenings and weekendsThings were improving and the client even sent text messages to our project manager indicating that everything looked good and that she was happy with the progress and the performance, (please see attached)She even asked the project manager to add additional items not included in the original work scope (lighting installation and other items see attached)Four days prior to being asked to leave, our project manager called and sent multiple messages that went unanswered by the client (please see attached)
Then suddenly and being close to the completion of the project we were asked to remove ourselvesWe estimated that three more days' onsite were neededThe customer then proceeded to ask for a credit and illegally held our tools hostage until such time as "we would refund her money." In order to get our tools back we filed a police report (see attached)Police assistance was needed to get into the home and recover over $3,worth of equipment that the client would not release
Below, please find a list of items completed to date that warrant compensation: 1) Set up and ran negative air - Hepa Filtration to clean air throughout the unit this included a $consumable filters that was used
2) Fogged the entire home with general biocide- Benefact
3) Fogged the duct system with general biocide - Benefact
4) Removed window treatments though out the entire home
5) Removed carpet - throughout
6) Removed carpet padding -throughout
7) Removed tack strips, nails, and staples
8) Removed debris from site
9) Ran smoke odor removal equipment with a $cartridge
10) Wiped all walls with Benefact atomic cleaner
11) Wiped all ceilings with Benefact atomic cleaner
12) Wiped all floors with Benefact atomic cleaner
13) Patched drywall
14) Primed all walls except upstairs bath
15) Primed all ceilings except upstairs bath
16) Primed all trim except up bath
17) Painted trim we used 22, five gallon buckets of primer in the unit to prime all surfaces
8) Painted walls with colors some rooms got one coat to date
19) Moved washer and dryer for customer
20) Living room wall painting was completed, ceiling painting was completed, and trim was completeThe windows still need to be cleaned with a razor blade and (goo gone) applied to remove the paint from the glass and the side of the vinyl clan members
21) Basement bedroom west wall paint completed, ceiling paint completed, trim paint completed
22) Basement bedroom east wall paint completed, trim paint completed, ceiling completed
23) Basement hall wall paint completed, trim paint completed, ceiling paint completed
24) Basement bathroom ceiling completed, walls need 2nd coat, trim completed
25) Main foyer ceiling completed, trim primed, walls need 2nd coat

The amount of work invested in this project is far greater than the down payment of $The paint materials were used and not wastedMaterial was applied to the wallThe only corrected work was the sanding of walls and paint drips from the primer which was done prior to the final paint coat being applied and all of the wall imperfections were correctedOur company has receipts totaling $in paint and materials that were the responsibility of the customerThe contract was a package dealEach portion, if separated out would have increased the cost of the workBy creating this work as a package, we agreed to reduce the costIf we can't reach a mutual agreement, we will be forced to file a lien against the home in the amount we believe we are still owedIt is our opinion that days remained to complete the work before we were pulled from the jobIt was the customer's choice to remove us form the job before it's completion and then taking our toolsThere wasn't an effort to reach an amicable settlement on behalf of the customer even though we made an attempt
