The offer was made they did not accept and home warranty sent another vendor

After submitting this initial complaint, technician Robert visited our home again on... 7-10-17. We reviewed the diagnoses we had received from prior visits and Robert made suggestion to replace fan blade in order to rebalance machine and correct shaking issue. Robert advised a new blade would need to be ordered and delivered to our area, he said it would be few business days turnaround for this fix.At the end of the visit, my husband and I were undecided if we would move forward with this repair or simply buy a new system out of pocket with a company of our choice. Robert assured us the offer to replace the fan was still available and we could take a few days to decide. We reached out to Jessica at AirMax on 7-12-17 and left a voicemail requesting Robert's information so we could move forward with the repair he suggested. We have not yet received a call back but will be reaching out again tomorrow in an attempt to move the process forward again. Regards, [redacted]

I do apologize that there were multiple issues with your furnace but with the policy you signed with your home warranty we at airmax nor *** are held liable for the delay in the parts and the issue was sent to your home warranty and they are to handle any further questions or needs you may have
concerning your claimWe do give a hour window as some calls may take longer than othersThere are several personal attacks that are unsubstantiated and not true in this complaint If we can be of further assistance to you please let us know thank you

I am responding to the complaint submitted by a customerOn the initail trip to troubleshoot we found a bad compressorThe customers home warranty was responsable for shipping the part to us once it was received and the weather permitted we made the repairThe customer sent in an aep bill for
around $After speaking with the customers electric company it appears her bill is not higher than for an all electric homeThe amount she submitted was left over from payments for her yearly budget payment planHer second opion company stated in their diagnosis that the compressor repair was operating normallyThere are programs to help people with paying their energy bills when they cant afford toOne is (HEAP) we would suggest they check into something like that

I am writing in reply to your letter dated April 17, 2015 regarding the above-referenced ID, I appreciatethe extension to 5/6/15 for the response. As I mentioned, my daughter is helping me with this issue andshe was out of town and unable to assist me within the 10-day reply notice requested in your letter. The message you received from the "Business" (Airmax Heating and Cooling) was not accurate, and didnot address the issue of my complaint. My letter of March 19, 2015 was filing a complaint against AirmaxFor not diagnosing the problem with my thermostat which caused the furnace to continuously run whichresulted in an electric bill of $1,997.66 for the period of December 2014 to January 2015.Regarding Airmax's response to you, below is my counter-reply:1. Airmax's response stated "the customer sent in an AEP bill for around $600". This is completelyincorrect. I never submitted a bill for "around $600". The copy of the bill I submitted was in theamount of $1,997.66 as I referenced above,2. Airrnax stated "after speaking with the customer's electric company it appears her bill is nothigher than normal for an all-electric home; the amount she submitted was left over frompayments for her yearly budget payment plan".-Per my conversation with an AEP representative, customers' electric bills are privateinformation. and it is illegal for this information to be disclosed. Additionally, the AEPrepresentative confirmed the bill in the amount of $1,997.66 is NOT left over from anyprevious budget plan. This was a direct billing for the period of December 2014 thruJanuary 2015 for which time the thermostat was not working and caused the furnace tocontinuously run. AEP confirmed the kilowatts used from December 2014 throughFebruary 2015 were 1,000 kilowatts over the normal usage than the previous same timeperiod for the past 3 years.-As I stated in my original letter to Revdex.com, I questioned Airmax several times asking if theproblem was with my thermostat. Each time Airrnax said the thermostat was workingproperly. If Airmax would have properly diagnosed the additional problem with thethermostat the furnace would not have continuously run resulting in an electric bill of$1,997.66. (Note: I had another company, [redacted], come to my house and they said thethermostat was not working and needed to be replaced; I referenced this in my originalletter.)I am requesting AirMax Heating and Cooling provide the date, time and name of the individual theyspoke with at AEP that disclosed information regarding my account.Again, your assistance with this issue is appreciated, I do not have a computer to access emails; therefore,I can be reached at [redacted] to discuss this matter or if you need further information.Thank you,[redacted]

I am sorry the delay was on your home warranty. AirMax offered the parts free of charge the homeowner and his wife Amy declined the offer. Claim was transferred to a different  vendor with the home warranty.
