AirNow Cooling & Heating Reviews (4)

We called this company to repair our air heating/cooling unit. The first time they came out the tech checked some things, replaced a wire and declared it fixed. We paid for the repair. It stopped working a day or two latter. Another tech came out after some tests he replaced a small part and declared it fixed. We paid again. A couple of days later it stopped working again. I explained to the (owner?) they should return to fix and not charge me because they didn't fix it the first or second time. He said I was crazy and if I want it fixed I would have to pay for the service call. I just wanted it fixed. The third time they came out after checking this tech said the thermostat was bad. I asked him to replace and he said he didn't have a regular one on his truck and I could get one myself if I wanted, which I did. I have replaced many of these but this time the new one wouldn't work right. I called them for advice and they said they would send someone again, for a fourth service charge. I agreed, the tech got the new thermostat working and charged me a fourth service charge. I would never deal with these people again.

Air Now, [redacted] I call them for repair on one of my air condition. They came promptly and as promised and rapidly fix my A/C. In fact they fixed my A/C so fast that it took the technician almost as long to write up the invoice for $173 for re attach a thermostat wire and replace a transformer fuse.

I feel that $173 is exorbitant for how little they replaced and how quickly they fixed my A/C.

I recommend caution when dealing with them. It may be only one technician that is problem.
