To whom it may concern, Mr [redacted] brought in his Oldsmobile Cutlass for us to remove the bad oldsmobile engine and install a 305h.oChevrolet engine out of Monte Carlo SS The Chevrolet engine only had 55,mion it Mr[redacted] came in on 3/28/and said the vehicle had an exhaust leak and is using oil and that there was oil dripping out of the tail pipeI looked under the vehicle and did not see and or hear any exhaust leaksI also did not see any oil leak at that time He showed me the black carbon in the tail pipe and said that was the oil running out, I explained that that was carbon and normal Mr [redacted] started getting very angry and started threatening Me He also said "in his own words"My homie bought a crate engine for and that we charged him too much for the used engine and demanded his money back He said he was going to put me out of business if I did not refund him I told him that a refund is out of the question I wanted to look the car over on a rack, but He was so irate, Icould not even talk to him I never got a chance to tell him that crate engines do not come with all the accessories he needed to install the engine He would have to buy an intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, exhaust, water pump, fuel pump, all accessory brackets, power steering pump, transmission, etc None of the accessories and brackets off the old engine would fit, the new enging is a chevrolet engine and the old engine was an oldsmobile engine He got all of that for the dollars we charged himI feel He got a very, very, good deal I believe Mr [redacted] 's friend is feeding him with a lot of inaccurate information The vehicle runs greatIf Mr [redacted] would let me, I would like to get the car on a rack and look it over for him Im sorry He feels this way, but I think He would be ok if his friend wasn't mis-informing him Thank you for letting me explain our side of the story If I can help you any further, please let me know Thank You, [redacted] {owner]

To whom it may concern, Mr*** brought in his Oldsmobile Cutlass for us to remove the bad oldsmobile engine and install a 305h.oChevrolet engine out of Monte Carlo SS.
The Chevrolet engine only had 55,mion it. Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:First, I am not satisfied with this response. It didn’t even seem like they paid attention because they first stated that my Cutlass was a 1977, when it is a 1988. I asked them to change the motor and they talked me into a motor and transmission change, which they didn’t even mention. I took it back up there to them and asked what they could do and they stated they wanted me to bring the car in so they could put it on the rack, but this was never said to me. They never wanted to look at my car. There is a motor mount that they didn’t bother to try to fix that is held on by bolts, instead of the 4. They overlooked this as well. He basically called me a liar in his response regarding the oil that was leaking. There is no reason I should have a cracked gasket and white smoke already when they just installed this motor. They made me seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about. They imply that they gave me a good deal, and if so, I should be having a motor that is working correctly after spending $1,100. I would like to reimbursed for what I spent, minus the labor cost
Sincerely,

First off I would like Mr. [redacted] to bring the car in for us to look at. We have not even seen the car on the rack to look under vehicle. If Mr. [redacted] would like to call and make an appointment to drop the car off so we can check things out, then we can determine if there are any problems with the vehicle. Until that happens, I cannot make a judgement on anything Mr. [redacted] is claiming. Thank you for your time in this matter.
