I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This response by mr [redacted] is factually not trueNothing was ever said that my deposit was to purchase suppliesNOTHING Regards, [redacted]
On May 20, Mrand Mrs*** requested an estimate for a new roof on their home Mr*** went to the home and did an estimate for them on May 27, This estimate was signed and received back into the office on June 2nd On June 13th Mrand Mrs*** sent in the
required deposit of 10% down for materials This was in the amount of $1, No start date was set at this time for installation On June 27th an additional estimate was sent to Mrand Mrs***, upon their request for an installation of a new roof on their patio as well At this time, it was verbally told to Mr***, per Mr*** (owner of Blue Ridge Roofing), that the projected time of installation was the end of July There was no dispute in regards to this date Materials was purchased and project was set for last week in July On July 5th I received an email from Mr*** stating he wanted to cancel the installation and was insisting upon a refund of the down payment On July 8th I received an additional email from Mr*** wanting a refund immediately because he had found someone else to install the roof It was verbally communicated that the down payment was for materials and expenses toward his installation This was not including the trips we had made to his residence for the additional estimate and ordering of supplies for it as well If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know Thank you,Joseph ***Owner of Blue Ridge Roofing
