Review: On December 23, 2012 I went to the website of airportcardsdirect.com . There I ordered an airport card. It was listed at $53. The site said I would get a 20% discount if I ordered within a certain number of hours. I then went to checkout. I gave my credit card information and then after it was processed the site showed that I was charged $53 plus $16 for shipping. Nothing previously had said anything about shipping. No discount was applied. I immediately wrote to the site to change the amount. I did not hear from them. I then wrote to them to tell them to cancel the order, and explained these problems to them .I never heard from them but did receive the card. It came about two weeks later. I immediately returned it in the same shipping, sent by US Postal Service with delivery confirmation. The total charge was $2.80 (compare $16). I never heard from them. I contacted my credit card company to tell them, and they investigated. The company said it never received the merchandise. I checked with the postal service, my label number is [redacted] and the postal service (USPS.com) shows that the package was received January 11, 2013 at 10:54 am. My credit card company did not then help me as the dispute had gone beyond the deadline for resolution. It appears that airportcardsdirect is scamming the public: Offering discounts which are not given at checkout. Charging exorbitant shipping prices which are not shown until the checkout is complete. Receiving returns and not crediting the customer.Desired Settlement: A refund should be issued. The company should be listed as unreliable.
