In regards to the complaint that was placed on our hotel We do apologize about the misunderstanding that lead to this matter As we value all our customers and guest we will try to settle this issue as best as possible We maintain our hotel as clean as possible and are very sorry
it wasn't up to Mr *** standards Our banquet equipment was and is always checked before and after any event and there was not a problem detected In no way possible were any of Mr *** guest informed his even was canceled We do have employees with somewhat language accents but all are understandable As I stated earlier in this letter we are very sorry Mr *** was unhappy with our services and in good faith we will issue him a 20% refund on his banquet hall rental and consider this matter resolved.Thank you,Manager
After getting a room for a week, I found the need to leave & the refund policy was not explained or the payment given was not correct. On 12/06 I got my daughter a room for a week. The out front sign states $159.95 per week & $29.95 per day. after checking in we went to the room. The side sconces light did not work. Later the toilet did not work. She was moved once then after complaints they would not do repair or move her. So we decided to leave. At the front desk they only returned $65 and some change. I told them the math was off & they owed me more money. At this this time the front desk clerk showed me a copy of a policy that showed if you leave brfore the week was up then your room fee per day would be $54 plus tax. This was not explained when we checked in. I feel this is not a fair practice. This should have been explained when I checked in. My daughter had to kill several roaches. Some even got into her pizza. Desired SettlementI feel that I should be charged at a room rate of $29.95 per day as their sign states. Or they should be more specific explaining their refund policies. When they are the ones that will not make the room livable with the basic accomodations. When I questioned the clerk at check out then she showed me the policy about the higher room charge. I feel this is an unfair & unacceptable policy. I will not go back there or ever suggest their hotel for lodging.Business Response called Ms [redacted] and told her we do not have a weekly rate of $159.95 and that she had the wrong hotel. She informed me that it is supposed to be the [redacted] Inn on [redacted] RD. So could I get this complaint removed from my hotelThank you[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The policy was not shown to me at the time that I checked my daughter into the hotel. I personally checked her in because I used my bank debit card. The only thing I signed at check in was for the debit card payment. The desk clerk did not explain any policy about checking out before the week was up. She took the payment & told us where the room was. That was it. When I returned to check her out because my debit card was used I was asked to sign a copy of said policy. The desk clerk said I had to sign the policy to get any refund. So of course I signed the paper. That policy was not explained until I complained & decided to leave. Then to tell me no money would be returned until I signed it. I signed under protest & to get some of my money back. I am sure that the motel will not meet my desired resolution. I do not have any further documentation. I have my testimony & my daughter's testimony as to what happened. The person who did the refund is not the same person who originally took my money on the first trip. They are wrong. I will not promote them as a hotel to use to any one for any lodging or event. Final Business Response Like all hotels, the weekly rate is exactly that (A WEEKLY RATE) rate.It is cheaper than the daily rate. The most important details was left out on this complain1) $29.95 is the rate for 1 person, 1 bed Monday to Friday.2)The policy showed to Miss [redacted] have her signature or the person whose name the room was on. This policy is explained to ALL weekly guest since they are required to sign it before check inn. I really don't believe Miss [redacted] or her daughter would sign a paper without knowing what it is.
