I am so sorry that we can not come to a conclusion with this complaint but I need to ask the Revdex.com again to close this case as resolvedI spoke with Phil P***, the GSM that [redacted] keeps referring toI was told by him that he told her we would refund any charges we weren't charged by NY DMV and or any processing feesWe have emailed proof of all the processing fees we were chargedWhat [redacted] doesn't understand is the specific guidelines, rules and regulations a Car Dealer is bound byIf we charge for processing fees for any out of state deals to one we have to charge it to all or it becomes discriminationPhil should never have agreed to refunding any unused processing fees in the first place and we had a meeting in reference to this particular casePhil stated he did not agree to thisThe PA Revdex.com does know what I am talking aboutWe are bound to charge every consumer a doc fee and we can not arbitrarily charge one consumer and not the otherThis is the same casePhil P*** told me this was a simple case of misunderstanding and he did not say it the way [redacted] is expressing it was saidI am sorry but I can not refund a fee I was chargedI would have to do the same for every out of state customerI am asking again for the Revdex.com to close this caseThank you,Iris G [redacted] CFO (Tell us why here

8/18/2016We were in contact with **& *** *** to let them know we have a check in the amount of $ready for them to pick up or be mailed to them *** *** decided to come this afternoon to pick up his check Hazleton Kia apologizes for the mishap with *** *** but it
is the companies policy to deposit every check that we receive so that our customer will be guaranteed the car of their choice If a refund is due on a deposit made with a personal check, we have a waiting period of business days to be certain that the check cleared our account so that the customer can be paid back in full

Hazleton Honda's fees for out of state deals is a flat fee of $350.00 regardless of the state the DMV fees are due to.  [redacted] was misinformed by a manager that the unused fees would be refunded to her.  We did everything we could to help [redacted] resolve the issue as the manager...

that delivered the car to her is no longer employed by our company.  [redacted] took delivery of her vehicle on January 2, 2017.  She had called several times in regards to the fees being returned to her.  We could not return any monies to her at this time due to the paperwork and plates not being fully processed by the New York DMV.  [redacted] received her plates and paperwork for her vehicle on January 30,2017.  Hazleton Honda wrote a check to [redacted] on February 23, 2017 in the amount of $157.25.  On February 24,2017 Hazleton Honda received final documentation for the fees that were incurred for the delivery of [redacted]'s vehicle from the New York DMV, [redacted],USPS and difference in sales tax that was charged.  [redacted]'s check cleared our bank on March 6, 2017.  Hazleton Honda was not aware that we still had an issue [redacted] because we proceeded to reimburse her for the monies she requested.  Please advise if we can be of further assistance in this matter.Thank You,Hazleton Honda

We are bound to charge every consumer a 138.00 doc fee and we can not arbitrarily charge one consumer and not the other. This is the same case. Phil P[redacted] told me this was a simple case of misunderstanding and he did not say it the way [redacted] is expressing it was said. I am sorry but I can not refund a fee I was charged. I am rejecting this response because:
My original complaint was “The manager of the Hazleton (PA) Honda dealership would not put the terms of my new car purchase in writing (not even providing a Bill Of Sale). I requested the terms of the sale to be written down and signed by both me and the dealership manager, but the manager told me his word was good, he was an honest man and he didn't need to put his commitments in writing.  I live in NY and wanted to register the car in NY myself to avoid paying the dealership the $350 registration fee they wanted to charge. The manager stated that the dealership would only charge me what NYS DMV charged and that the balance of the $350 would be refunded to me by the dealership-no dealership processing fees would be charged to me, the registration would be handled as a free service by the dealership.” Since the dealership charged me processing fees, which I was told I wouldn’t be charged, I do not feel that the issue is resolved so I stand by my prior responses and feel that this complaint can only be closed with an “Unresolved” status.
