I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Thank you for the notification. Mr *** refund check #*** in the amount of $84.78 was cut on 1/14/and was mailed on 1/18/16. This concern should now be resolved.Thank you, AVR Sacramento*** ***General Manager

1. At no time did I have a pet or animal in the rented vehicle.2. When I returned the vehicle, there was no pet hair or scratches or damage as implied by the rental company or in the photographs.3. I honored the terms of the contract in full. Whether such damage occurred before or after the time of my rental I cannot say nor is it my responsibility to account for. customer went to Burning man.  Van was not detailed.  We have pictures at return showing the POOR condition of our van.

Review: I rented a van from this company on March 16th, 2016 (through March 26th) for a family trip to California. I made the reservation online and paid with a credit card. There was NOTHING on the website that indicated additional charges, fees, etc. When I picked up the van I was told there were additional fees (apx $300 worth) I owed, which were never indicated and I was REQUIRED to purchase their RV insurance because it was a 12 passenger van. I confirmed with two different insurance companies that MY automobile insurance was more than sufficient to cover a 12 passenger and RV insurance was not required.

While on the trip we went to San Francisco and went over the Golden Gate Brige, the "toll Booth" for the Golden Gate Bridge is automated and there is no person that works there. When you cross, if you do not have a Fast Trak pass then the cameras take a picture of your license and you receive a bill for the toll, this is NOT considered running the toll booth. I have now received a bill from a company called "[redacted]" for $35 because Van Rental Company received the bill for the toll (because the license plate is registered to them) and they are stating I owe them $35 for running a toll, which is did not do (below is the link regarding the Golden Gate toll info and showing that you receive an invoice for the toll).

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of $35 "toll violation" fee because it was not a toll violation.

Review: AVR will not removed a damaged vehicle from our parking lot. Despite repeated emails and phone calls, they will not take responsibility for their vehicle. Frankly, the vehicle is a huge eyesore and could hurt our reputation. AVR has given us "permission" to remove the vehicle which is laughable for 2 reasons:1. There is huge cost involved in removing a vehicle2. To remove a vehicle we would need the title of the van...which we do not have. Speaking of the latter point, we do not want the title. We just want AVR to take responsibility. AVR has had 88 days to remove the van. They simply refuse to do so.Desired Settlement: We want them to remove their vehicle within the next 7 days. They have been on notice for 88 days regarding this.

Review: Approx. one month prior, my wife and I reserved a 15 pass. van with AVR for pick up on 12/19. When we arrived to pick up the van on 12/19, we were told by the rep ([redacted]) that, due to a computer glitch, their rental calendar was shown as open instead of booked and all the vans had been rented out, there was no van available for us. He explained that there may be one coming back that afternoon, and if it did arrive, we could rent it. We went to lunch to await his call. He then called and told us that the van that was expected back would not be there in time, however, he had found a 15 pass. van at a competitor around the corner ([redacted]) and he had reserved it for us in our name, we could just go pick it up. He said that he had spoken to his boss, [redacted], and [redacted] had advised him that AVR would pick up the difference in rental costs between AVR and [redacted] because it was their mistake that our rental was not available, and that [redacted] would be calling us on Monday and they would refund the difference to us. When we arrived at [redacted], the van was waiting and the manager there told us that [redacted] had told him that they would be paying the difference in the rental fees. [redacted] never called on Monday, so, we called him. He asked us to scan the [redacted] invoice to him (which we did) and that he would send it to their accounting office for payment. Since that time, we have contacted [redacted] numerous times to inquire about where our refund is. [redacted] states that he has left several messages with the accounting office and also with the District Manager and no one will return his call. We have also called and left messages for the District Manager, [redacted], and the Director of Operations, [redacted], however no one has returned our calls. [redacted] continues to state that he is sending the request to the accounting office for payment, however, no one will get back to him. We asked if we could speak to the accounting office and we were told that we could just leave a message for them. We did this and they never called us back.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a refund in the amount of $84.78. This amount is the difference between the rental cost that we would have paid for our van that was reserved for 12/19 at Airport Van Rentals ($85.89), and the cost of the van rental at [redacted] ($170.67), which [redacted] (AVR) reserved for us because they had mistakenly overbooked their rentals and had no van available for us. We were promised by the AVR representative, [redacted], that AVR would pay the difference in the rental costs.
