Dear [redacted].I will be delighted to answer this complaint which is basically an attempt to beat our minimum cancellation fee of $25.00 as disclosed on:*Reservation form's "Terms of Service/Reservation agreement" (like in this Revdex.com form which I am presently completing, online reservation requests...

cannot be submitted if user does not agree to "terms of service/reservation agreement"). *Every rate/service webpage of complete nationwide service website.*Auto request confirmation email (automatically sent right after users submit their request for service).*Processed confirmation email. Also, I would like to turn your attention to company's Revdex.com history (2002 to date) on service complaints and you be the judge. Furthermore... please take a test drive of website ([redacted]) and verify for yourself our claims of full disclosure. Unfortunately, [redacted] strongly believes he's exempt of disclosures, policies, agreements, terms of services, cancellation fees, etc.. (please follow links below for case support and pay close attention to: submit-screenshot & auto-response files below).[redacted]NOTE: The above files are being made available for your review only and will be deleted once case is closed.

Recently used Executive Transportation (dba airportspickup.com) for a business trip to Miami and then from Miami into Naples for a medical convention and the service was excellent (white glove services including water and mints in the vehicle both times). Drivers awaited for me at the carousel and assisted me and my companions with our bags (+ 2 golf bags) to the parked SUV at Miami international airport from my long SFO flight. In our trip to Naples, Rafael (driver) asked us if we wanted to see alligators and we made a stop along the way in a rest area where there is an alligator observatory onsite (from a wooden deck). Journey was a pleasant 2.25 hours in a brand new Cadillac Escalade SUV. I think it will be helpful to mention that before booking with airportspickup.com, we looked into getting an uber lux suv for our ride to naples, but surprisingly, uber lux suv rates were about $250.00 more than what we actually paid for our trip with airports pickup.

Review: I needed to reserve an airport shuttle for me and my family. I found this company online and saw that a trip from our place in White Plains, New York to the Newark Airport in New Jersey was listed at $135 on their website. I also booked two car seats at the cost of $125 each. When I received the booking confirmation, the cost quoted was $245- including a slew of taxes, fuel surcharges, tolls, late night pick up, etc. that were not clearly and understandably listed and on the website. I immediately called to cancel- about 30 hours before the scheduled pick-up- but was still charged a $25 cancellation fee for a trip I never took. Trying to reason with the company was not successful- the customer service agent only repeated their cancellation policy and hung up on me saying "this conversation is over."Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund the $25 cancellation fee as well as give customers the option to review the final price before allowing them to enter into any agreements.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Thank you for allowing me to comment on this. My complaint with the practices of the company lie in the fact that the rates are not fully disclosed online. The company states that a trip to the Airport from my location costs $135. It also mentions that additional fees do apply- including the cost for the car seats I reserved. The website lists no easy way to calculate the amount of these fees, as it is customary on web-based purchasing sites, such as [redacted] or [redacted]. Each of these sites lists a total sum of costs that one is liable for before giving the option to purchase. Airportspickup.com does not give you this option, only a statement that additional fees apply. It would have been acceptable to assume that taxes, fees, and surcharges could have increased the fare within a reasonable amount - say 20 to 30 percent of the quoted price. However, the fact that the total cost was over 80 percent higher than the online quote made doubt the integrity of the company and its services. I highly doubt that there even exists a scenario in which I could have gotten to the airport for the quoted amount. To me, this sounded like a case of false advertisement, to say the least- leading me to immediately cancel the request.Thank you again for the opportunity to comment. I would hope that the Airportpickups.com will significantly increase the transparency of the booking process to avoid these costly and unfortunate miscommunications in the future.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,
