Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** the *** of Airpro Service CoIncis being dishonest and got caught to rip us off as well as defraud both us and *** I do have an *** home warrantee and *** has sent ***/Airpro more service orders on & to complete the repair started 10.20.15. *** is now being dishonest again because *** has and did sent ***/Airpro more orders to complete the repair started on 10.20.15: The first service request that same evening at 6:31PM and the second service request at 9:05am both to complete the repair I also forwarded the service request to ***/Airpro yesterday morning as well as called ***/Airpro yesterday morning to try and schedule a time to complete the repairs However, ***/Airpro failed to mention this in their reply to this compliant yesterday afternoon (10.21.15) at 3:48pm; more than hours after ***/Airpro received the second and third service orders:(4. This is not our first rodeo and definitely not the first time someone has tried to ripped us off. Therefore, we take countermeasures to help ensure we are not ripped by anyone again:)You are 100% correct I did send two emails to ***/AirproThe first email was the evening of right after he tried to rip us offNeedless to say I was unhappyThe second was after we spoke yesterday morning, when I tried to schedule a another time for ***/Airpro to complete the repair but I was belittled by ***/Airpro as well as his *** *** this time when they told me I was dummy and I didn't know what I was talking about and I had a typo/misspelled a wordThe reality Is I do know enough to know when I am being scammed and they got caught. Nothing more nothing less. To the Revdex.com: We are grateful for the service the Revdex.com provides and please excuse any typos or misspelled words. Thank you for your time and consideration. Here is one of the requests *** sent us and ***/Airpro the same evening to complete the repair. From: *** Subject: Service Request Confirmation

This home [redacted] is a customer of [redacted] and not our customerWe made the authorized repair and checked operation of the heat pumpAny problems need to be handled through [redacted].Here our his emails sent after the repair on Tuesday and another after we spoke on
Wednesday morning. I hope the next company can help them with their needs.First Email:10/20/2015We
are very disappointed by today's service call or what we should say is today's
lack of service call we received October 20, at 415pmWe don't appreciate
being lied to for any reason but especially form a former "[redacted]" that still
attends [redacted]But what does that really meanLots of
people go to church on Sundays and maybe Wednesday night, too However,
ones walk certainly separates those who can talk the talk but not walk the walk
from those that talk the talk & walk the walk.
1.)
My [redacted] and I were both told that that our AC is only cooling the inside air
temp by 13ºIDB temp of 74º to an indoor air temp 61º
exiting unit The outside air temp is degrees, too bc all
windows openService tech, [redacted] or [redacted] or * something, told us that is
operation for a [redacted] unit bc unit is subpar and poorly built;
that is the max cooling we are going to getOr we can cash in our [redacted] warrantee and purchase a new heat pump from Airpro
2.)
My [redacted] and I, were both told the pressures measured in our [redacted]
compressor were 50-55psi on the low side and on the high side and those
were operating pressures for our unit at 74º Moreover that the
max cooling we will get is 13º below IDB bc of reason above.
3.)
When I asked the service tech he refused to hook back up the gauges and show me
the high and low pressures right in front of my [redacted] and then he started
stumbling over his own words:(
4.)
Why does the chart below from the manufacture, [redacted], show high and
low pressures of 70psi and 170psi, respectively, at indoor dry bulb temp 75º,
entering indoor wet bulb temp 63º and outdoor ambient temp 75º? :( Why
does [redacted] say it should pull at least 18º below IDB
5.)
So what is it: what the tech says: 50psi low side, high side and 13º
max cooling or what the manufacture states: 70psi low side, high
side and min of 18º of coolingOr how about that our AC used to pull more than
degrees below IDB before it brokeOf course the tech told me I cant trust
the infrared laser temperature unit I bought or that we can't tell the
difference between 13º and 25º of cooling FYI all of these pressures and
temp drops are at 74º inside and outside
6.)
Of course the solution the tech had was to cash in my [redacted] warrantee and buy a
new AC heat pump or live with the crappy [redacted] we ownShouldn't the solution
have been to return the [redacted] heat pump to the working condition it
was in before it broke? Isn't that what we paid for? Our [redacted] unit is only
years old
We
are fully prepared to file complaints with [redacted] and every complaint board we can find if our AC unit is not
fully repaired immediately We paid for a complete home warrantee, we
paid our service fee and what we got in return was as partial repair, mislead,
told pressures where measured and within range and thats as good as it gets
or wei cash in the [redacted] home warrantee and use the cash from that towards
purchasing a new compressor bought from Airpro to replace the subpar [redacted]
unit we have or live with it.
We
have only called [redacted] to report unit not being fully repaired during service
call and that unit needs additional repairs.
2nd Email
[redacted]
was referring to ?T
of 15º off the [redacted] chart at 75º indoor and outdoor ambient temps
and that the at a entering indoor wet bulb temp of 67ºOk well the pressure
should be 70psi and 170psi at that reference point according to the [redacted]
specsSo if [redacted] says 70psi and 170psi are the pressures why would
[redacted] say he measured ours at 50psi and 220pis and that is normal? I
have tied scheduling with you times today by phone but you will not answer
[redacted] has sent a service request again, too.
I
don't appreciate being told that my knowledge or understanding of how an AC
works is questionable at best when compared to [redacted]'s years of
experienceYou don't know me, my experience, what my degrees are in or that
I working on my DoctorateOff the top of my head and for your edification
AC's (that use a conventional type of refrigerant like R-134a, R407C and R410A,
or older refrigerants like R-11, R-etc and not ammonia based) all operate
quite similarlyYou have a refrigerant and oil in an evacuated closed
system consisting of a compressor, expansion valve, condenser and evaporator
The compressor receives or sucks the expanded refrigerant and oil (that is cold
from expanding into the evaporator, through the larger suction line usually
wrapped in insulation) through the condenser or heat exchanger; then the
compressor compresses the gaseous refrigerant back into liquid refrigerant
under high pressure and is mixed with the oil; then the high pressure liquid
refrigerant and oil is pumped through the condenser or heat exchanger again and
back to the expansion valve (through a smaller un-insulated line) where the
liquid refrigerant expands through a small orifice within the expansion
valve into the evaporatorThis is what produces the cooling effect within the evaporator
located within the air hander and is based upon the K value of the refrigerant
being usedAir is blown over the evaporator, through the duct work and into
the houseThat might not be 100% but it is pretty darn closeAnd the reason i
know this is from years of experience owning home and car AC's, cleaning the
fins of evaporators, de-icing the evaporators and/or cleaning the fins of the
condenser It was one of the questions on my physics final exam that gave
me the scientific understandingDescribe how and why a home AC works in detail
due to the k value of the gas being usedAC's work bc of the physical values
of gases and liquids.
You
got caught trying to sell us an AC we don't needMost people wouldn't know
about any of this stuff and trust their AC person to be straight up and on the
level We forgive youHeck we forgave you when it happenedWe are
disappointed that we gave you a chance to save face yesterday, but chose not
to Look at the mess that has created.
BTW
AC is onInside air temp is 76º pre evaporatorAir leaving air handler is
63.8º and it is 79º outsideThat is a 12.2º temp drop when it used to blow 58º
when it was 78º inside and 80º outside or a 20º temp drop
Unbelievable
and you wonder why we are filing complaints with Revdex.com, [redacted] and
[redacted]
