Review: We purchased a Groupon in the amount of $49 for a Winter furnace tune-up from Airtek Systems on February 3, 2013. We made an appointment for service and nobody showed the day of the appointment. We setup another appointment and again, nobody showed up at our home from Airtek and nobody answered their business phone. Their lack of customer service cost our family two entire days wages since we stayed home from work for the appointments. We attempted to setup another appointment but were told that the boss would need to find time to do the service and they would get back to us. No return phone call was received from Airtek.
We then called to request a full refund since no service was performed, and frankly, it seemed unlikely that it ever would at that point. We were told that a check would be issued right away, but no refund check was ever received from Airtek. We called again to request our money back on six different occasions and each time we were issued an apology and told that a check would be sent. Much to our dismay no refund check was ever received from Airtek.
We have tried and tried to work with them on this but we are endlessly ignored and put off. Enough is enough. We simply want a refund for $49 for services that were never performed, even though Airtek cost our family much more time and money than that over the past 8 months.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive a refund check for $49.00 for services that were never provided.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have no interest in a free tune up from this business, however I am glad they will be sending a refund.

Review: Airtek installed a lower quality furnace and central air then what was on contract. The furnace is not hooked up the right way only runs on high speed all the time.The termostat will not work on fan.They never filled in the hole to the outside where central air goes out.
