our Kennel, During the time spent at Airy Pines, this dog required minor attention to her eye; approximately 3 times during her 10-day stay we had to wipe her eyes due to some mucus build-up. on the pick-up date, when the claimant arrived to pick up his dog, we do agree that the dog was experiencing a mucus buiid-up at the time of pick-up. This was an oversight on our employee's behalf, but when she attempted to wipe the dog's eye prior to returning the dog to her owner, the claimant lashed out at our employee and would not tet her administer any treatment to the dog. He left with his dog and then returned demanding a full refund due to mistreatment of his dog, which was not the case and was denied a refund.At our facility, we take photos of our dogs to share on social media each day. After receiving a harassing message via social media, we informed the complainant that we had numerous photos of his dog, while in our care, that showed there were no persistent eye issues while she was in our care. If the dog in fact caught an eye infection while in our care, that is something completely out of our control, and therefore we are not responsible for any vet bills associated with an eye infection.The claimant has a legally binding contract with us regarding his dog's stay at our Kennel, that coupled with the fact that his dog was in no way mistreated while in our care, is why we are disputing this claim and will not issue a refund or pay any vet bills.Thank you for your time,Fran R[redacted]Owner, Airy Pines Boarding Ken
