Delivery Hell
I was scheduled to have a sofa delivered from AIT and they never delivered 2 times, never communicated and rescheduled without even talking to me. When I called to find out why they didn’t communicate the woman hung up on me. I ended up with a different delivery company through IKEA and they communicated every step of the way. I’m still getting notifications from AIT that they are going to deliver my sofa.. Worst experience ever!

How are they still in business.
When it comes to customer care and timely delivery, AIT Worldwide Logistics gets a negative 1000 rating. I purchased a grill from Sams on 06/18/2022. AIT received the shipment details on 06/18/2022. AIT picked up the item from the sellers warehouse on Monday 06/21/2022 and held it in their Columbus, OH warehouse until 06/27/2022. The item arrived at the Delivery Terminal on 06/29/2022.
AIT's own delivery instructions to their warehouse were : Deliver on or B4 06/28/2022.
I contacted AIT on the 06/29/2022 to find out why I had not received the package, and was told the soonest they could deliver it would possibly be 07/06/2022.
I contacted AIT on 06/30/2022 and asked if I could pick it up from their warehouse in Orlando and what would they compensate me for their foul up plus me picking it up so that I didn't have to wait for them to deliver it. I come to find out they have now sent it to a 3rd party for delivery and was told very politely that they don't give a damn for the inconvenienc or their foul up so if I want to pick it up from the 3rd party that's OK but they will not be compensating me for their foul up. If I wanted compensation I would have to contact the seller who would then have to compensate me for AIT's foul up.
NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER TRUST ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY!Well, at least AIT is consistant.
After experiencing AIT's "don't give a damn" delivery service of a grill I bought from Sam's Club, I had to return it because it broke. They picked up the grill on October 14 (they were an hour later than the window they gave for the pick up) and then kept it in their warehouse where it would probably still be if I had not contacted them on October 27 to find out why it had not been delivered as yet. They graciously told me that they would expedite shipping due to the delay. Well, expedited delivery to AIT must mean something completely different to what I was thinking. It took from October 27 until October 31 to travel from Orlando to Indianapolis. I called AIT on October 31 and was told that it would be delivered today (November 1). I called them today to check on the package and make sure it was going to be dlivered and, found out I had been misinformed (or should I say lied too). I have since been told that AIT will be contacting Sam's Club within the next 2-3 days to arrange for delivery. How does this company manage to stay in business?
