I apologies for taking so long to get over the house of Mr. [redacted], but at that time I was working out of the area and was tie up on my scheduled. I stopped over with Mr. [redacted] and we talked about the problem he has. Unfortunately with concrete we never know when it will cracks. We...
used everything that is on our hands to re-enforce concrete to not to crack and last longer. We order concrete with the best quality: * Add a minimum of 5” of compacted gravel base CA-6. * Add steel wire-mesh #10 gage. * Drill rebar off existing foundation for support. * 4” of concrete thickness on flat work and 7” for steps. * We pour with a 6 bag mix at 4000 PSI * Add fiber-glass which is better than the wire-mesh. * Add sealer on to help curing and protect concrete. Even knowing we put all this and used the best of materials, concrete still cracks within hours of pouring it. We spoke with Mr. [redacted] that and we came to a conclusion, if the cracks opens I will replace stairs at no cost. All we want is happy customers and sometimes with tie schedules and not been around the are, is difficult to have an response right away. My apologies to Mr. [redacted] and for the delay on stopping by and take a look at the job.
