[redacted] K [redacted] owner of Precision Roofing, inccame out to give an estimate on our hail damaged roofHe demanded $in cash upon which he wrote up a "free estimate ".my husband had to run to the bank to get $This was for the "free estimate " and a paper saying he had a five year certificationMy husband and I both talked with him to demand a refund which was refusedI am really tired of businesses taking advantage of customers in this wayReally rude on the phoneWould never recommend this particular owner for the above mentioned reasons!
Precision Roofing began replacing our roof in August 2016. At the time, we paid the full contract amount. In October, our house failed our first inspection. Around the same time, Precision Roofing submitted an invoice to our insurance for additional materials. Our insurance company issued the check to us. We were given the guidance not to pay the full amount until we had passed inspection. The owner of Precision Roofing called asking for the additional materials funds so that he could buy materials to finish our roof and bring it into compliance with city code. We gave him some of the funds but told him we were going to hold on to the remainder of the money until we passed inspect. We failed a second inspection in late November. We called him to let him know that we had failed again. Between the end of November and December, we called him to see when his crew would come out and complete the job. Each conversation we had with him, he let us know that he was just waiting for the weath
