This group was contracted by my neighbors to put up a new fence around their backyardThe overall progress of the job seemed to go well and look decent enough, so I inquired on a quote for them to to our side gate leading into the backyardI was quoted $and informed them this job was between me and himTo shorten a long headache of a story, they finished our neighbors fence, took our old gate down, then abandoned the job when they explained to my mother that the price was now $because of some modifications that they would need to do to finish the job, quoting her as saying "That's too much"She denied saying this to me, and more to the point, it wasn't her contracting the jobThe owner, through text, proceeded to change the amount and give me several different prices for other jobs/services they offeredUpon inquiring with my neighbor, this seemed to be a common practice for them to quote a price, do the job, then return with another priceThey apparently over-priced the job with our neighbor in an attempted to buy more fencing for future jobs while handing the bill to the customer.Some of the quality issues encountered by our neighbors were 'questionable' at best and had to be redone, including fixing a side gate they didn't properly support with enough bolt screws and proper alignmentReturning to the job they were supposed to do with me, they never finished, dragging out 'negotiations' for a couple weeks while leaving no gate upThat they took the gate down before informing of the price change was bad enough, but they wouldn't even put the old one back up because it "didn't fit" anymoreHaving lost my patience and decided to finish the job myself, I came to inspect just how shoddy, crude, and ineffective their workmanship really isThey readily take shortcuts to lower costs in exchange for reduced quality for the customer.Their home office is Colonial Oaks, that is actually a private residential building on Middle Avenue, which you cannot enter without being buzzed in or having a passcode
