This started out as a miscommunication between the office and the crew scheduled to do the workThe job was in a garage; in certain cases we do not set containment in garages, depending on where the mold is foundWe have the option of venting the area and then scrubbing after the work is
completedThe customer hired us because he wanted containment set due to many storage items kept in the garage areaWhen we realized our mistake, we took additional steps to insure that the work was completed properly and all storage items were not affectedWe went back the very next day, sealed the garage off and fogged the entire garage including all storage itemsWe then left an air-scrubber in place over the weekend to insure that the remediation was completeWe then went back and took an air cell test that we sent out to an independent lab to insure the mold levels were normalThe additional steps we took due to our miscommunication were taken to insure customer satisfaction and were done at no cost to the customer I attached the results of the test and all mold levels were well below what is considered fungal ecologyThe job was started on Thursday, January 21st; we went back to fog on Friday, January 22ndWe left the scrubbers over the weekend and picked them up on Monday the 25thAt that time all work was completed; we then post-tested on Monday, February 1st just to be sure the work was completed properly, and sent the results on Tuesday February 2ndWe received payment on Monday the 15thBetween the February 2nd and 12th we called and emailed requesting paymentWe have since waived the cost of the remediation, and the cost to the customer due to his inconvenience is $I am truly sorry that this customer was upset about how things went, but as you can see we took every step necessary to insure all work was done properly.*** *** Owner/Operater

I am convinced that they attempted to defraud me and others, and that they get away with it most of the time. What convinced me beyond any reasonable doubt, was the aggressive and threatening nature of the collections calls subsequent to my forwarding payment exactly as I had agreed. Their contract was specific as to how they were going to do this job. I continued to receive threatening calls even after they received my payment, upon which I then stopped payment. I know they received my check because they called to tell me so and attempted to apologize, but I could not accept.I do not believe they ever intended to perform the work the way they contracted to do it. If they do that to everyone and don’t get caught, they are making an extra $1,500 dollars per job. I don’t want to pay them $1,800 for a $300 job and should not have to be harassed, threatened, aggravated and subjected to their “remediation”. They are not being gracious when they offer to waive the cost of remediation which never should have occurred.
