I paid ajs for snow plowing 2 driveways for my rental property.. he came only 2 times very late after the snow fell and pushed it on the sidewalk.. many many phone calls go straight to answering service with no reply back. Terrible service. He never once returned my phone calls. I promised my renters snowplow service and have pleaded with him when it snows to come plow.. I want to take him to small claims court

AJ's Snowplowing was paid for winter snow plowing and did not show up and has not returned money sent for services. There is no response to calls
AJ's snow plowing was paid for snow plow service at my mothers house for the winter season. NO snow plowing was done at the beginning of the winter without MULTIPLE calls. My brother called and talked with the owner and he assured him that he had hired additional help to plow and that he would come out personally and plow my mothers driveway. The snow plow came once 36 hours after first snow and dug up yard --even though I had put up reflective sticks--they just ran them over. With the additional snow falls we had, they did not come to plow. Multiple calls were made with no answer to our complaints. When we tried to contact the company, someone answered and said refunds were being sent out on Friday ( 1/31/20)-- no refund was received and now no one answers the phone.

My mother is elderly and has limited income. She paid for a service , but no service was received. She has since paid a new company to plow the remainder of the season. She needs a refund from AJ's!

AJ's Snow Plowing, LLC failed to provide the services I paid for, and despite several calls, will not refund the money I paid.
On September 26, 2019, I paid AJ's Snow Plowing, LLC $335 (check no. ***) to plow my driveway and sidewalk throughout the season. They came once on December 31, 2019 and plowed the driveway, but not the sidewalk. They never came after that despite several snowfalls and despite my repeated phone calls. In late-January 2020, I finally got ahold of someone who stated something along the lines of, "You don't deserve that. I will get a check out in the mail to you."

More than a month has passed and I still have not received a check. I have called three times and each time, the call goes straight to voicemail. My next door neighbor, who is nearly 90 years old, also signed up with AJ's Snow Plowing and has had the same issue. I believe the company is a complete fraud and may be preying on senior citizens.

Paid for services never received. Plowed 2 times. Had to call but no response. Ended up getting a reliable service. Never hire someone because they are the cheapest. Crooks.

NO SERVICE even though check was cashed immediately. We have been plowed a couple times but inconsistent, unpredictable and not the service promised when hired. Multiple other neighbors are having the same lack of service. Would assign 0 out of 5 stars if possible. Multiple attempts to contact the business owner have been unsuccessful. Notified company after first time they did not plow/able to leave a message. Voicemail box has been full/unable to leave messages since beginning of February. It's very frustrating that there's really no recourse to hold "business" accountable. Small claims court is one option but they don't enforce settlement collection... frustrating!

Not happy. Company was supposed to plow the double driveway after it snowed 2 or more inches. They didn't not show after the first snow - More info!!
The snowplowing service was for the winter os 2019 - 2020. I have a double driveway and paid $189.00 with a check. On the first snow fall of more than 2 inches they didn't show up. I called them and was told that they would be there shortly and this did not happen. After a day the driveway was shoveled. I made another call to ask why no one showed up, and was told that they were super busy. The next time it snowed no one showed up once again. I again called and was told that they had vehicle problems and could not do the snow plowing job. Again the driveway had to be shoveled. The next time it snowed I had to make a call and was told that my address was not on their list, but they did come after a while. The job that was done was terrible. For this entire contract so far they have shown up 3 times. This was a very bad deal. Another problem with them is you could not reach them by phone, Lately when one tries to contact them all you can do is leave a message and never getting a returned call back. I would say that this was a Big Scam.

I paid $210.00 for snowplowing service in October 2019 and have not been serviced properly!
He came two times and has turfed my yard and also my neighbors yard...I had him come here to look where I wanted care to be taken and he put markers up and never paid attention to the instructions from me.

Not providing the services that were paid for.
AJ's Snowplowing is not providing the services they were contracted and paid for. They are supposed to come after 1 inch or more of accumulation and return to clear the end of the drive after the city/county plows have come through. They have only come 3 times, usually at the beginning of a snow event and never return
after several more inches fell or when the county plow comes through. Also, when they have plowed I watched them move the snow right into the street. I've gotten no response when reaching out to the owner.

Hired AJ's to perform snow plowing for the winter season. At first it was performed poorly, but now when it snows, he doesn't show.
Dec 1st - Snowed at 10am. Arrived at 9:40pm
Dec 31 - Snowed at 7:50 arrived at 10:30am - Didn't plow the full drive. Called and asked him to re do it. Never showed.
Jan 18 - Snowed at 8am. Arrived 5pm
Has been a no show since.
Won't return text or calls. I was only asking to confirm that I'm still on his route and nothing.

Add my family to the list of people who were scammed by this company. In September 2019, we paid the "early bird" price of $335 for snowplowing. AJ's Snowplowing came once. After several calls, all of which simply go to an automated system, the company assured us they would refund our money. I have yet to see the check. Sadly, several people in the neighborhood have had the same issue with AJ's Snowplowing.

Terrible service. They only came the first 3 snow events, and then only after I called and texted repeatedly. After that, even after calling and texting, they haven't bothered to come, or answer calls or texts. I have a very long driveway and it is not feasible to shovel it myself - although I have already had to do the best I could a few times now. Such terrible service - they take your money and then refuse to even plow, or answer calls.

Hired AJ's in November to plow for the season and haven't had service to date. Asked for refund and have confirmation in a text but have not received
Plow service paid in full November 2019 for winter season. 1st snow fall failed to show up and after seeing his plow do the neighbors I had to cal 3 times to do mine. Have not seen his services since. Texted many times and asked for a refund in which he responded he would send and has not as of today Feb 17 2020. Sent several texts and phone calls after each snowfall and no response.

A J's accepted my check and contracted to plow my driveway. the company has not done so. It has failed to plow the driveway and has failed to return my calls. I have called many times over the last three weeks at different times of the day. The company has failed to return any of my calls. I am out my money, and I have not gotten my driveway plowed. Company did plow the driveway in December, but I had to call twice out of three times to get them out here. Only about 75% of the double drive was plowed each time.

On 10/06/19 I mailed a $210 check and the form for "double drive" plow service to AJ's Snowplowing. With the first snow storm of the season, no one came, and I had no markers to show where to plow on my driveway. I called and left a message to make sure they had me on their route, even though they had long cashed my check. They came out that week and marked my driveway.
The next snowfall my driveway was plowed. Then with every storm since then, AJ's has not shown up to plow after the contract amount of snow of 1" and also after the city plows plow our street. For example on Friday January 17, 2019 snow began to fall, Saturday came and went after a very large amount of snow. I called the number on the contract, 616-451-9433, at 4:30pm and 6:30pm 1/18/19 and left voicemails stating that I had not been plowed even though there was over a half foot of snow on my driveway. Sunday morning, 1/19/19, well over 36 hours since the storm started I called again and a man actually answered the phone. After I asked if I could have my driveway plowed, he stated that we had 6 inches overnight, in which I replied I was very aware of that and all the inches the prior 2 days. He sounded surprised that I had not been plowed out even once that weekend and said he would send someone. A plow came some time mid morning. Even then, the plow job stunk. I paid for a double drive and there was a single strip plow down the middle, and by then there was a thick crust of ice from the rain on top of the snow. I went out and shoveled both sides so we could have a car parked in the driveway and also be able to move our other car out of the garage and not be blocked.
Since that example on January 17-19 we have had a few more snow storms accumulating more than an inch of snow, and I have not been plowed out again. I have called, no one ever answers, and I have left "reminder" or "come plow" voicemails on several occasions. I have not heard back from them nor has my driveway been plowed.
I am at a total loss on any way to communicate with this company. And I obviously will not ever hire them again. I am just really thankful that this winter has been light on snowfall.

Hired them to plow snow and they don't. They missed me the first 2 or 3 snow falls and afte several calls they said they had left me off there list.
I sent them a check for $220.00 in oct for snow plowing and they are not plowing when they should. I have called them about 12 times and they don't return my calls. II also have texted them several times and they don't answer them.

Terrible service. We've had 6 snow events of over 4 inches and they've come twice, and only after I called repeatedly. Other times, even after calling, they haven't bothered to come. This is a fly-by-night outfit. They must have thought it was going to be easy money. I had two surgeries last year, so I can't do it myself whether I want to or not, so when they don't come, I'm stuck. What a bunch of lousy crooks they've turned out to be.

The group seems to be take your money and run. Called Monday, Feb 10th, late afternoon and left message asking when they would be plowing us for Sunday's snow that ended @ 10-11 pm Sunday. No response. Called again Tuesday asking why they didn't plow us. It's now Wednesday midmorning and still no phone call. Ended up shoveling myself Tuesday. Put up with them not doing a good plow job, it was always just one swipe through and we paid for a single drive 2 stall garage. The plow didn't even go near the width of the drive so we always had to widen it and clean up their shoddy work. Another storm is coming Thursday, Friday so I'll see if they show up. If not Facebook is a wonderful tool along with Small Claims Court.

The company did not provide service as described in their flyer of plowing when there was 1 or more inches of snow.
We signed an agreement and sent a check to AJ's snowplowing LLC on 9/9/2019 in the amount of $205.00 for snow plowing services between November 1 and March 31.
The check was cashed on 10/15/2019. The agreement stated that plowing services would take place after an accumulation of 1 or more inches of snow and that they would return to clear end of the driveway after the city plow went through.
So far this winter season, we have received 1 or more inches numerous times and the driveway was not plowed. The driver has come to plow 3 times at the most but we have needed to do it ourselves or ask a neighbor to snow blow at least more then a half dozen times.
We have a member within this household that depends on this service to be able to make it to his chemo therapy treatments and we have needed to ask other people for help in order to make these appointments.
We have contacted the number we were given for AJ's numerous times and continue to get the same recorded message, after leaving our name and number they still do not call back.
We do not have the money or time to take this business to small claims court and would appreciate some assistance in resolving this conflict.

No show snow plowing company
I got a flyer in my mailbox and I thought I would give them a shot. Looked like a reasonable price so I sent in my money, $210 for the season. Since the start of snow plowing season they have showed up a total of 3 times and for two of those I've had to call to get service. We got about 3-5 inches this past weekend and they have not showed up. I've called the number, texted the number, left a message and still my driveway has not been plowed. I've also talked to a few others who have them and they have not been plowed either.
