I drove 6 hours to have Andy Morris work on my truck. He claims to specialize in vehicle customization including window tint & vinyl wrap. I spent $2300 at his shop. I was I was told my truck was done so I returned to pick it up, only to be told half way there that there was a mistake & it wasn't ready. I was told a second time my truck was ready & when I arrived & it wasn't even half done. By the time they finally finished my truck, I had over 15 hours of drive time involved. Andy delivered the truck to me & it was immediately apparent that the window tint job was mediocre at best, the wrap wasn't going to last & they burned my headliner. I pointed these things out & Andy said he would get them fixed. I contacted him multiple times to try & work things out, finally requesting a full refund for the wrap ($791) once it became apparent he wouldn't fit it in his schedule. He is refusing to stand behind his product & craftsmanship & is saying he can't provide a refund because he doesn't have the funds to do so. He has since sent me a text stating he used old materials & didn't take the shelf life into consideration, possibly didn't prep properly, etc. I have since paid someone to remove the wrap because it looked terrible and was falling apart, only to realize that he didn't wrap the top of my truck - HE PAINTED IT without permission. This is absolutely unacceptable & I would like to see Andy Morris and Morris Motorsports, LLC own up to their mistakes & make things right. I'd hate to see others go through the same headache I have here & can only imagine the amount of time & money this business is costing people. My attempts to reach out have fallen on deaf ears & I am fed up with the lack of professionalism and quality this business has shown regarding the situation. I have reached out to *** at the *** chapter Chamber of Commerce at *** & have had no success in getting a favorable response from either party. If we don't see immediate progress here, I am prepared to take legal action.

Unfortunately my first response to this claim was not received. I responded to this claim to show our side of the complaint. ***'s wrap was discounted due to being older material we had in stock. The design he was wanting on the hood around his flames was something I discussed with him that could potentially not be done but he wanted this to be done anyways. We did the design one way and on one of ***'s trips to pick up the truck, we both agreed on trying another way to wrap the hood to see if applying the wrap a different way would hold up stronger. This was done for him via knifeless tape, edge sealer to ensure the wrap would stay down and heated with a heat gun to stay on the hood. This was done the best it could have been done. Since redoing the hood restarted the wrap process and *** had already made a trip to ***, I agreed to drive his truck to him myself while an employee followed me down in our personal vehicle. This was to compensate ***'s time of driving. The window tint I had never even heard a complaint on until I saw this claim filed. As for his headliner burned by a torch or flame, we do not use any equipment that would have burned his interior. All wrap is heated and applied with an electric heat gun which is basically a high powered hair dryer. The roof was painted to his knowledge as I have statements from him agreeing on the roof and parts of the truck being painted in order to save time. When I delivered the truck to ***, he never mentioned any of the problems he now has. He thoroughly checked over his truck and I even have a *** video of him screaming how much he loves the truck and what a great job our company did on the truck. Since this complaint has been filed, *** and I came to an agreement via text message. He stated he would end the harassment and bad claims as long as we reimbursed him $700 for his wrap. We have since then paid $300 towards that $700. I was under the impression this was settled with the customer.

Clearly our stories differ and I haven't heard a thing from him, trying to make things right, since he reimbursed the original $200 (not $300) until now. I am concerned he isn't going to follow through with his word of refunding the full $700 and I would like reimbursement right away. Once he holds up that end of the deal I will be satisfied to drop it and part ways, obviously never doing business with or recommending, him again. I am highly unsatisfied as a customer, totally disagree with many of his statements and extremely disappointed with his lack of professionalism.

In response to this complaint, I had assumed we were settled on the $700 reimbursement. After sending him the first of his repayments we received this correspondence. We stopped issuing payments until we knew how this would be handled. We will gladly send him the remainder of the $700 to get this ended and taken care of.

We accept the reimbursement. We expect the remaining amount of the $700 be sent as soon as possible. The remaining amount to be paid is $500. Once the payment has been received, this issue is resolved and can be ended.
